Right behind the house you will find Kinney Run bike path which you can ride all the way into downtown Golden (hop on one of our ebikes to make the ride quick!). There is also world class mountain biking at the famed Apex Park open space just out the back door. Other near by trails include Dakota Ridge, Green Mountain, Chimney Gulch, Matthew Winters, North Table Mountain, all within pedaling distance, but there are hundreds of miles of trail to explore within a short drive. For the younger kids, you will find Heritage Dells park/playground just across the street. Splash swimming pool/water park and Fossil Trace Golf Course are just minutes away. Quick access to I-70 ski areas with Loveland just 40 min away. For more urban focused adventures, Denver is just a short 15 min drive away. Or, just hop on the W Line train which has a stop just about a mile away from the house, and arrive in the heart of Denver at Union Station by train. World renowned Reds Rocks Amphitheater is just 5 miles away and has lots of great trails to explore as well as their unparalleled setting as a musical venue. After a day of exploring and adventuring, enjoy our spacious and private backyard with has a hot tub, fire pit, hammock, swing set and BBQ.
