The space Mountain Dale Retreat was built in 2017, by my dad. It is built on the foundation of the home he lived in as a teenager. This property, as well as other surrounding land, has been in our family for many years. The painting of the lumber yard in the master bedroom is the family's lumber company that was located across the railroad tracks. The Victorian home next door was built in 1864, and is where my grandparents lived before building their house on this property. My dad, Dale, passed away in 2020, so I wanted to name the house after him. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath home is comfortable for relaxing with friends and family. Bathrooms have heated flooring and the gas log fireplace in the living room is operable with a remote control. There is a comfortable back porch with seating and nice breezes as well as 4 rocking chairs on the front porch for viewing Lookout Mtn. and the hang gliders. Guest access Entire house is available to you. Detached garage is not available. Drive up parking to back porch door. Handicap accessible. Other things to note If bringing children-please cover furniture with towels or sheets provided. Extra cleaning fees will be incurred for stains. TV's in living room and bedrooms are smart TV’s or have Roku’s for streaming your own subscriptions.
