Our home is located in the beautiful historic district where the neighborhood is quiet, cozy, eclectic and safe and you will find plenty of sidewalks for a morning walk or run. Take a stroll & you will see all the wonderful period homes throughout this beautiful neighborhood The space Our cottage boasts 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each, a den with a comfortable twin sleeper sofa and 55-inch smart television, an additional living space with 40-inch smart TV and a well stocked updated kitchen with new stainless flattop stove, Keurig, microwave and large fridge. Sit back and relax with a streamed movie thru Netflix or Hulu (must use your own account log-in), have coffee or a glass of wine on the covered front patio or dine Al fresco on the bistro table on the side patio. The large fenced back yard is a wonderful place for the kids to run and play under the large shade trees. We are conveniently located within walking distance of a public park as well as the cultural center that houses an art gallery and a small community live theater. We are located minutes from the up and coming downtown revitalization area full of several restaurant and bar/pub choices. If you prefer more current shopping opportunities, we are located 10 or less minutes away from those businesses. We are about a 20 minute drive from Shaw AFB. Guest access You will be welcome in all areas of the home. There is plenty of closet and dresser space for your belongings if you require a longer stay. Other things to note We are a family of retired military personnel and support our fellow active and retired members as well as all first responders. We understand how it is to move to a new location and how it is for families to get settled. Our home will provide you all the comforts of your own home while you familiarize yourself with your new community.
