The Farmhouse at Cresson Farm

A 90-acre family farm with hiking, berry picking, and bird watching in lush Ohio Valley, WV. Plenty of private onsite parking and internet. The space The farmhouse dates back to the mid-1800s and has great rooms and spaces for gathering. The main level includes a kitchen, dining room, living room, large enclosed porch, and a full bathroom with shower. Upstairs includes three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. The bathroom upstairs only has tub access; it does not have a shower. The bathroom downstairs is the only bathroom with a shower. We have also included four folding cots which can be set up in a row on the back porch for additional beds, if needed. There is also an office, which can be used as an additional bedroom if you choose to use an air mattress. Pets are permitted, we ask that you please keep them in the kitchen. We have provided gates to assist with this ask. The Farm Surroundings Around you are fields, our barn, and outbuildings, which include a springhouse and little house. A large back deck overlooks the pond and fields and is a lovely spot to enjoy dinner each night in good weather. In the little house, you will be able to find various yard games including badminton, croquet, or corn hole. Attractions Nearby Fishing in Wheeling Creek Oglebay Park - golfing, driving range, putt putt, paddle boats at Schenk Lake, etc. Downtown Wheeling - Centre Market, Coleman Fish Market, Wheeling Nailers hockey team Entertainment We have the highest speed internet that country-living will provide.
