Two minutes away. • The Billy Motel has the coolest bar & food. • Canaan Valley Resort State Park (golf, ski, dine) • Timberline Mountain ski area (brand new ownership) • White Grass Ski Touring Center (cross country skiing) ATTENTION: Stairs are steep. Could be challenging for some. Perfect for the outdoor enthusiast! Artful Lodger is close to loads of world renowned mountain bike trails, hiking, alpine & Nordic skiing and sight seeing. The living space features alternating tread stairs that lead to a spacious, comfortable loft bedroom. Artful Lodger has a private entrance and a shady back patio that looks out into the woods. Patio chairs, kept in the ‘shed’, can be pulled out to enjoy this peaceful spot. There’s a hose to rinse off muddy bikes and room to park a couple of them. PLEASE no FIRES or grills on back patio. Sorry, HOA does not allow guests to have fires. I work in Davis and live fifteen minutes away. I’m happy to share recommendations and would love to help you find your way around. I’m just a text away. Davis is a small friendly town. Many restaurants are now open again for sit down dining (June,2022). The dining room at the Lodge at Blackwater Falls SP is newly renovated. Our sister town, Thomas, is home to lots of great galleries and the Purple Fiddle, a music venue featuring the best regional and national touring acts. You’ll be able to walk, bike or drive into Davis. Thomas and Canaan Valley are both a short drive. At this time we do not have Uber or Lyft in our area. Please note that this is a small space, and is best suited for two adults. Please let me know if you will be wanting to use the fold out couch downstairs so that I can have all of the bedding ready for you.
