Black Oak Casino - 15m The space The Cabin is located in a small part of the Sierra mountain foothills of Sonora where gold was mined in the 1800. There are a lot of historic towns along Hwy 49 the Historic Gold Rush Highway. It all starts in Sonora which is why its the largest town near Yosemite. Guest access Guests are welcome to access the entire house but not the outbuilding or in the basement of the house. Other things to note Check before you go to Yosemite: Driving time varies based on weather, time of day, road conditions, and traffic. Please access the Yosemite National Park website for helpful hints and passes into the park before you leave.
