We are surrounded by rural horse properties and have magnificent vistas of the mountains. This is American country living at its best. Two suites avail. are listed separately because of their own calendars. The space In an elevated cove of Morongo Valley (3,000 ft. above sea level) it is 8 -10 degrees cooler than Palm Springs. The suite includes a living/dining room, bedroom, 3/4 bathroom and fully equiped kitchenette. The private space has a great overview of Morongo Valley with magnificent San Jacinto mountain range in background. Attractions: Morongo Nature Preserve - birds watching and hiking; Desert Hot Springs - swimming and soaking, Pioneertown with Pappy & Harriett - music and dining; Joshua Tree National Park; Revolving cable car to San Jacinto Peak; Snow sports 1 hour away; and much more. Horse stables in the neighborhood. We have a quite bit of wildlife and birds on our and surrounding properties. Guest access The entire outdoors of the property is open, plus you will have your private area. The neighborhood and the National Wilderness are open for roaming. Warning: the roads past the Highway 62 are not paved and slow speed driving is advised. Other things to note This rental is for 31 days and longer stays. I can provide transportation upon mutual agreement. The two suites are attached to the opposite sides of the house and have their own outside space. Privacy is guaranteed. If your dog habitually barks indoors, or if you expect to be noisy, sorry, this would not be a good match for us. Cat and dog owners will be required to pay $25 (cash or check) up front for extra cleaning.
