Tropical Golf Getaway- Privacy w/San Diego Style

Plan on a relaxing San Diego stay in our Private Topical Guest Quarters located downstairs below our home. Plenty of room to stretch out in your living room that includes a dining area & mini kitchenette. Living room has couch and queen air mattress in the closet. Adults have a separate bedroom with a comfy queen bed. Share our park-like yard with putting green, Tiki Bar, waterfall & fire pit. Or relax on your guest patio where you can BBQ or just chill and check out the views. You'll love it! The space Our Air Bnb guest quarters are located downstairs below our home. We live in La Mesa, a quiet suburban neighborhood of San Diego on the west side of Mount Helix. Our yard is park-like with lots of trees. The quaint town of La Mesa is just a few blocks below where you can antique shop and enjoy various pubs and restaurants. The 94 freeway is 2 minutes away providing immediate access to Downtown San Diego and The World Famous San Diego Zoo within 20 minutes. Beaches are a 25 minute drive off the Interstate 8 and feel free to use our beach kit which includes a cooler, chairs and a boogie board. Our place is perched in the hills of La Mesa which is famous for its antique shops, breweries and Oktoberfest! The Trolley runs through La Mesa but you will most likely need to provide your own transportation around town. There is free, safe and convenient street parking directly in front of the house. As you enter our Bnb, there is ample seating in the front room with a couch and cozy eating nook. The dinette is a great place to share meals or do work at the table area. The front room also hosts a full stocked mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and hot plate. Feel free to cook during your stay. There is also a BBQ outside on your private covered patio where you can dine al fresco at the patio table and enjoy the 180 degree sweeping views of Mount Helix. There is a separate private bedroom and separate bathroom as well. Our home is a recently remodeled Mediterranean style home with every room updated and decorated in a relaxing tropical theme. Tommy Bahama-Esque! There are also lots of cabinets for storing dry goods if you plan an extended stay. The unit has heating and air conditioning which has zone controls for cooling specific areas. The main living space has a mounted TV with DVD player. There is cable TV and a DVD player with tons of movies. Cabinets are stocked with over 100 movies to choose from during your stay. There is also a Redbox down at Albertsons and the local library has hundreds of DVDs that you can check out for free. Internet wifi can be accessed with a code provided at check in. The updated kitchen has a fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker and convenient hot plate for cooking. Kitchen area is fully stocked with dishes, utensils and cooking items. Feel free to cook during your stay. Fridge has common pantry items. Coffee maker and supplies for making coffee/tea included. Bathroom is separate from both the bedroom and living room. This area has a sink, toilet and walk in shower. Bathing products are provided. Shower always has hot water reliably. There is also washer/dryer in the unit for use on extended stays. Master bedroom has a comfy memory foam top queen sized bed and includes plenty of storage. Many cabinets and drawers inside plus a mirrored closet where you can also store suitcases and bags. Additional storage drawers are located under the bed to make more room in main living space. Bedroom is light and bright when window is open looking out to picturesque views. Blinds easily drop to darken the room for additional privacy. Numerous reading lights throughout room are convenient for relaxing and reading in bed. If you need extra sleeping accommodations, the living room has a twin sized couch and additional twin sized sleeping mats and bedding are in the closet. Our guest quarters are like a second home on the property. Family and friends love to come visit and relax here as it's like their own private oasis. People comment that our landscaping is comparable to a fine hotel. The relaxing waterfall is right outside the guesthouse providing just the mood to feel the vacation vibe. Feel free to wander the yard. Play a game of mini golf below or hangout at the Tiki Bar above. Most summer nights are perfect for a chat around the fire pit. If you have kids they'll love the playhouse and swings on the property. Family friendly or super secluded it's your choice. Relax in beautiful San Diego with a budget friendly stay. Whether you are vacationing or traveling on business our Tropical Guest Getaway is sure to make your stay in San Diego a pleasant one. We are happy to host you if you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary or honeymoon during your stay. That is no problem. Just let us know your special occasion in advance. It's fine to have a birthday BBQ with your immediate family or friends who are registered as staying overnight in the Bnb. But we DO NOT ALLOW PARTIES with outside guests. We have had issues with people renting the Bnb then having their Birthday Party or Shower or Going Away Party or Holiday Celebrations at our home. Inviting outside guests for a party is not allowed. Keep celebrations to the immediate guests that are registered as staying the night. Also Quiet Time begins at 9:00pm no matter what occasion you are celebrating. Thank you! :) Guest access Guests will have the entire Guest Quarters to themselves. The Bnb is located in back yard downstairs below the main house away from the street. It has a beautiful covered patio with seating directly outside in front of the unit for relaxing. We do have full time renter next door to the guest house and he has a little dog back there behind a gated area next to his unit. Please don't open any gates in that area. There is a spa in the back but it is closed. NO use of spa is permitted at this time. NO PARTIES ARE ALLOWED. Quiet Time starts at 9:00pm. Other things to note We have a beautiful home and yard and invite you to enjoy the amenities. We are happy if you are celebrating a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary but NO PARTIES are allowed at our home. Quiet Time starts at 9:00pm.
