Escape to the country! The perfect mix of romance and convenience can be found at the Cottage at Sycamore Hill Farm. A newly renovated one room stone house w. a private driveway. Originally built in the late 18th Century, the cottage has wide plank floor boards and a wood burning fireplace . Modern amenities: stone-tiled bathroom w/ walk-in shower, central heat/air conditioning, electronic shades and Queen bed w/ luxury linens, futon in loft. Access to pool, hiking trails, firepit and creek. The space The space was renovated in 2018 but was originally built in the late 18th century. It is ideal for a couple or a small family. The second bed is up an open ladder to a loft so not ideal for tiny kids or non-agile adults! We have a pack and play and a single air mattress that can be used instead. DOG may be welcome, with prior arrangement. Guest access Our guests enjoy a private driveway, a private patio with dining table. They have shared access to creek, upper firepit, hiking trails and swimming pool (seasonal.) We can also provide a kayak trip for 2 for an additional fee. Other things to note I have hosted guests in this cottage since May 2018. We set up our account to have someone else listed as host. We could not transfer the listing but for all of you who have visited us several times, it is the same experience with the same owners! I have attached our past reviews in the photographs! The Summer House is a great getaway.... do some cross country skiing on the grounds, settle in and complete a favorite book, or begin writing.... The setting is charming.
