Clean, quiet, comfortable. Empty nest. Hosts: Todd & Val 2 1/2 km to downtown. Close to Fanshawe (3 km), Western (5.5 km), buses (5-7 min. walk to express bus). On street parking available with free on-line permit (no permit required May 1st - October 31st). Please read entire listing before booking to ensure that we can meet your needs. NOTE: - Larger friendly family dog may be on site. - NO food or drink allowed in the room. The space Guests may use the host's kitchen on a clean-as-you-go basis. We provide coffee, tea, and bottled water for guests. Friendly, quiet dogs may be accepted on the lower level (see listing for Welcoming Home 2). Inquire before booking. Breakfast and access to laundry facilities can be arranged. Full breakfast $8.50 per guest; Laundry $3 a load. Please advise as to any special requests (breakfast, laundry, etc.) when booking. Guest access Use of private sitting room in finished basement when not booked by other guests. Use of back deck and yard in warmer months. During your stay We are generally at home and available to assist. Other things to note Re: Air Conditioning. Hosts prefer natural air and fans. We usually have good breezes through the house and provide fans for guests. We have central air for guests and for ourselves ONLY on the hottest, most humid days (i.e. 30 degrees + and high humidity). If you require A/C on a normal summer's day, this is not the accommodation for you. Thanks.
