Description
Calling all architecture buffs! Retreat from the world and revel in the artistry of this peaceful, private, mid century masterpiece. Built in 1948 by noted local architect Ralph Bowerman, AIA, as his personal residence, the house has been meticulously restored down to the finest detail and is now ready to welcome visitors. At this time we are only entertaining guests staying 3 weeks or longer. Unfortunately no discounts. The space Rather than demolish the structure, which had fallen into disrepair, the current owners opted to preserve the architect's Usonian design intention, and embarked on a multi-year restoration project to return the entire property to a state even beyond its original glory. The property is fully gated and secure, with a meandering perimeter that leads you all the way around the residence. Luxurious amenities, timeless design elements and unique mid century touches will delight you around every corner. Live inside a work of art! Guest access Please: No parties or events. No more than 6 guests. No visitors without host permission. No access to storage unit. Lost key fee is $450. Lost gate opener fee is $150. Other things to note Airbnb provides all hosts with specific guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting spaces for guests, and our housekeepers adhere fully to those guidelines. Michael, your co-host, is also a certified COVID Compliance Officer. Be assured that all high-touch areas, such as doorknobs and drawer pulls, are sanitized for your safety. Wood surfaces are cleaned with an EPA-compliant alcohol disinfectant, and other surfaces are disinfected with either a bleach or hydrogen peroxide-based solution. Linens are washed and dried on the highest level specified by the care label. Registration Details HSR20-002145
