Located halfway between Malibu and Santa Barbara, this is the ideal family retreat location. The space This modern beach-style home has been recently renovated including brand new bathrooms, custom tile and wood flooring throughout, with all new designer furnishings and decor inside and out. The main first-floor living area has an open floor plan and expansive water views. The two-chef kitchen has stone countertops and backsplash, newly refinished cabinets, top-of-the-line induction cooktops, and Miele appliances. There is seating at the bar/counter for snacks or quick meals, and spacious dining areas on either side of the kitchen. The main water-view dining area seats eight, with additional seating for five in the bright breakfast area. Four large sliding glass doors create an expansive indoor-outdoor living area with a large deck and private side yard. The sunny, south-facing deck includes plenty of seating with large umbrellas and views down the channel. A Weber gas grill is always ready for grilling, and a fireplace table adds warmth and ambiance while relaxing on the outdoor couch in the evenings. There is also a spa in the sideyard with room for six that is the perfect place to unwind. Guests enjoy their own private dock with kayaks, and paddle boards included. Explore the harbor on our seven-person Duffy electric boat, which can be rented separately. Or tie up your own boat and make daily trips to the Channel Islands, less than 15 miles from the harbor. A spectacular wood and glass staircase leads from the main-floor living area to the second-floor bedrooms. The master has a king bed and a spectacular over-water view through the floor-to-ceiling windows and from its own private balcony. The ensuite bathroom has a large walk-in shower. A second bathroom also has its own large walk-in shower and serves the other three bedrooms. The east bedroom has a queen bed, and a twin that doubles as a window seat and has an additional pull-out trundle. Vaulted ceilings and a skylight make this space nice and bright. The middle bedroom also has a queen and direct access to the large front balcony with a sitting area, corn hole and other games. The west bedroom has three twin beds and is perfect for the kids. The completely finished garage serves as a large game room with a ping pong table and an additional 4K smart TV. This room also accommodates the new washer and dryer as well as beach chairs, sand toys, and a beach umbrella for your use. Guest access Entire house, attached boat dock, and hot tub. The dock can accommodate your boat to about 35' and has fresh water and shore power hook-up. Other things to note There is 5G WiFi available throughout the home. The main living area and each of the four bedrooms has its own 4K smart TV, ready for you to login to your service provider. The driveway has plenty of space for two cars and street parking is readily available. The two-car garage will handle your bikes and beach gear, and has a new washer and dryer for your use. The home is located in a quiet community of single family homes. We love our neighbors and expect that quiet hours of 10:00 pm to 7:00 am will be strictly enforced, as well as enjoyed by our guests. Walking and biking paths wind around the harbor for miles providing easy access to restaurants and shops as well as nearby sandy beaches. As the owners and your hosts, we are happy to share our favorite ways of enjoying the area. Whether it is our favorite roadside stands for grabbing fresh-picked produce, boat-accessible restaurants and ice-cream shops, or a hidden breakfast spot near the sand, we are always discovering new things and are happy to share.
