The spacious lower level of the farmhouse has an open concept entry, kitchenette, and living room area. The expansive counter top surrounded by windows for natural light and views of the farm is great for a work space, food prep, game area, and more! The kitchenette has a microwave, mini fridge, and toaster oven. A high rise dining table with 4 stools is provided along with basic dishware and utensils. Coffee, creamer, hot cocoa, microwave popcorn and basic spices are provided for your convenience as we are 15 minutes away from any store. The queen bedroom has a ceiling fan, closet space and 4 pillows provided to help you be extra comfortable. A full bathroom next door to the bedroom has a shower/tub and we supply it with crisp linens, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A laundry room with a washer and dryer is available for your use with the lower level rental. A living room with a new queen sofa sleeper couch and 2 side chairs gives plenty of room for relaxing. A smart TV is provided for watching Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc. High speed internet works great for all your work/personal needs and may be used for WiFi calling as cell service is limited in our area. Our outdoor space includes picnic tables, rocking gliders, space for hanging your hammock, a campfire area, a walkout patio with dining table and chairs, and areas to walkabout the farm property. An electric pellet grill is available on an outside upper patio behind the garage and can be used by other farmhouse guests. The night skies provide beautiful star gazing. Request to tag along during a chore run or simply enjoy a walk around the farm and explore our gardens or visit the animals in their pastoral settings. We are committed to ecological practices on the farm and in our farmhouse. We recycle and compost and encourage our guests to do the same. A solar array powers the whole farm and we offer an EV charger. The home is ran on geothermal heating/cooling. The lower level of the farmhouse is for your private use and has a private entrance. The lower level of the house is separated from the main level via a stairwell that has a two-sided locked doorway separating the spaces. Other guests may occupy the main level of the house in which they access via their own private entrance. Some noise and cooking smells may transfer between the levels of the house. *This is a shared house with two separate floors available for rental either separately, or you can rent the whole house if you prefer the whole space to yourselves without any noise of others within the house. Our outdoor space includes a walkout covered porch with a dining table and chairs. This porch is perfect for relaxing with morning coffee, laughing with girlfriends while enjoying nibbles and wine, or people watching and having the best view of live music during pizza nights. *During our pizza nights on Fri/Sat May-Oct, the porch of the lower farmhouse is also utilized by guests during pizza nights. If you desire a private porch area, please consider renting the main level of the farmhouse.* Picnic tables, glider chairs, and a campfire ring are provided. Please feel free to walkabout the farm property. Request to tag along while we do the farm chores if you'd like to learn about the animals. There is a parking space reserved for lower level guests in our garden parking area designated with an AirBnB Parking sign. You may drive down to the barn to unload your bags and carry them into the lower level of the house, and then move your car to the upper level parking area. If you arrive during a busy pizza night, you can park anywhere in the grass and walk your bags around to the lower level private entrance of the house. An assistant farm manager lives on the farm in a different dwelling. A car is needed for navigating to and from places in the area. Foods from the farm may be purchased ahead of time and we are happy to have your order ready for your stay. We send out an order form the week prior to your visit with current farm good offerings. From May-September, we are open to the public on Friday and Saturday evenings featuring our wood-fired pizzas, farm-to-table seasonal sides, local wine, craft beer and more. Live music may be scheduled to play in the yard across from the farmhouse which ends by 9pm. In October, we often host private events on Saturdays in the barn/yard. The benefit to you is that the wood-fired pizza oven would be hot so you could order pizzas. Occasionally, other special private events may be hosted in the barn and yard. All events are family oriented and are usually quiet by 9pm. The outdoor yard is a shared space with guests dining at the farm. Farmers, family, and/or Suncrest Gardens employees or pizza night guests may be outside depending on the day or time. A farm manager lives on the property in a different dwelling. Suncrest Gardens is a working farm year round and has an on-farm restaurant open to the public May-September.
