CABIN: if you’re looking for a modern cabin this is not the place for you. CLEANING PROTOCOL: We’re as concerned as you are about keeping our space clean. We follow all cleaning protocols by cleaning and removing germs, dirt from surfaces and sanitizing to reduce all numbers of bacteria. We use cleaners approved by health experts, like disinfectants with 70% alcohol or higher. We sanitize all surfaces down to the doorknobs. We clean room by room. All sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. are all washed and disinfected in high heat settings. --------------------------------------------------- VERY IMPORTANT!!!! We only have one day per week pickup and it is early Monday morning. Also on Monday after the garbage is picked up, bins have to be brought back inside the driveway. The Cabin is located within easy driving distance of the Delaware River (Delaware Water Gap). The lake/pond is behind our Cabin (Deep in some areas) and can be accessed through our backyard. Great for swimming or Kayaking on hot summer days. The lake is murky and muddy when walking into it but great for swimming once you get in [BRING YOUR WATER SHOES AND FLOATIES] . Not recommended for small children. Also a smaller deck downstairs with outdoor furniture. -4 cars will be allowed to park in the driveway. Only 4 cars will be given access into the gated community and there is no parking on the street. If any car is left outside of the driveway the community police will issue a ticket and you will be held responsible. PLEASE NOTE: There are about 23 steps down to the front door. It could be too much for older couples or small children or someone with disabilities. No wheelchair access . Must be 24 yrs old to rent this property and you must respect our neighbors (Please keep the noise level down after 10pm) -To ensure a safe and positive experience please follow all the rules in the Community. Any speeding, damages & violation YOU will be held responsible for yourself and your guests. Pay attention to the speed limit inside the community or you will get ticketed by the patrol. Again: We are not responsible for any tickets, violation or damages that you or your guests commits. -Check in after 4PM -Check out is 10am and no later {NO exceptions} unless you make arrangements with your host. - WE DO NOT PROVIDE FREE FIREWOOD. There's a $20 charge if you would like us to supply it for you. We will send a request for the wood automatically. Guests can use swimming pools, lakes, basketball and tennis courts and our beautiful sand beach/park in the community. All amenities are limited to guests only. You can also use the peddle boats with your ID badges. (Peddle boats are available from Memorial Day until Labor Day only.) Please note if the boats are not available, it's out of our control. We have 3 kayaks, 1 row boat and a canoe for your use on the pond in our backyard. Boat, kayaks and canoe are not to be taken off of the premises. Please note: They are all chained and locked. They will issue a ticket to the home and not you, but you will be charged for that fine by us. 6- Do not sneak anyone in unless they are registered. - Long Term Stay - Keeping the space clean is your responsibilities. -POOL: We only provide 7 pool passes free of charge. Children under 5 do not need a pass. There will be a $50 fee for any lost/missing passes. No exceptions - DISABILITY: This house is not accessible for people with disability -INFANTS/BABY: Please note we do not have any playpen or crib for the little one. You must bring your own. - AIR CONDITIONER: The house only has one air conditioner in the loft area and 1 portable in one of the bedrooms upstairs (fan in every room) -SMOKING: Absolutely no smoking inside the house-please be considerate while smoking outdoors and properly dispose of any cigarette butts. no drugs, no fireworks, no underage alcohol.
