Minutes to Golf Courses, Hiking Trails, Lakes, Wineries, Skiing (Lakeridge) is 1/2 hr. away. The space The apartment is approximately 700 sq.ft of living space. It is cozy and comfortable. No stairs to climb, well lit driveway, use of garage with direct access to apartment. Although the apartment is at basement level, it is entered through at ground level through the garage which sits above ground. Newly enlarged egress window in bedroom lets in lots of light. The whole house is an estate home sitting on a 1/4 acre land with a large backyard, quiet and safe neighborhood. The unit is equipped with small appliances (toaster, hot plate, kettle, Nespresso machine, "small" fridge, pots and pans, dishes, glasses, air fryer, blender, microwave, toaster oven, cold water dispenser, small slow cooker, cutlery etc. Laundry facility is included in the unit with a washer and dryer, clothes rack, soap, iron, and ironing board. T.V. has Netflix (use own account), Youtube, and a series of several hundred channels can be accessed. Guest access The apartment is totally private and independent of the rest of the house. Private entrance and keypad entry makes arrival and departure flexible. Connecting doors ( 2) leading to rest of house are locked on both sides for mutual privacy, and security. There is space in the backyard to sit and relax or eat your meals. There is also a fire pit, which can be used upon request. A Gas BBQ is available upon request. Other things to note Although the unit is equipped with most cooking necessities, the cooking element is a hotplate and the fridge is a mini fridge. As well, the bathroom is located between the living areas and bedroom. It serves as an ensuite (when in bedroom)and as a regular bathroom (when in living area)You go through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. There is no danger of poisonous insects or dangerous animals in or around the property or neighborhood.
