If so, The Cabin on the Pond is for you! This cute little cabin has been completely renovated with a farmhouse theme. It’s the perfect place to escape for a relaxing weekend surrounded by nature yet equipped with the convinces of home. Grill up a yummy dinner with your partner and dine al fresco on the large patio, take a morning stroll around the pond, go paddle boating, kayaking, fishing, then end your day relaxing by the fire enjoying the beautiful starlit skies. While here, you may enjoy watching deer, turkeys, pheasants, quail, geese, ducks, herron and even an occasional eagle. This is the life! We offer a beautiful rural setting, yet close to Beatrice, with many cute shops, nice restaurants, a wine tasting room and our new brewery! The cabin has a queen size bed, sofa sleeper and a daybed in the sunporch. The kitchen is fully stocked and has a microwave and coffee maker. All bedding, towels and general toiletries are also included. You are welcome to enjoy our patio area with fireplace, grill, fishing pond, paddle boat, kayak, and mandatory life jackets while on the water. We go out of our way to add these special touches to make your trip complete, such as snacks when you arrive and homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Enjoy the beautiful sunrises, sunsets and night time sky without city lights! Amazing! This cozy retreat is nestled next to our pond on the farm we reside on. The Cabin is the unique country getaway you’ve been dreaming of. You will need to drive on 1/2 mile of gravel to get here. We also have a newly remodeled farmhouse camper on our site. *Note picture for reference. Guest access Everything previously listed. Plenty of space to park your vehicle free for guests. Washer & dryer free for guests. There are a few stairs to enter the cabin. Absolutely no roaming through the farm building for safety’s sake. Other things to note You will need to drive on 1/2 mile of gravel road to get here. We also have a camper listed that is nestled on the pond near the cabin. If it’s booked, you may be sharing the patio with them. *Note picture for reference. As much as we want you to enjoy yourselves while here, we don’t allow you to invite guests to join you. We only allow paying overnight guests to use our facilities. The Pond is stocked with catfish, large mouth bass, crappie. We do practice catch and release.
