a primitive campsite located 21 miles from Terlingua Less than 30 miles to national park entrance 360 views of mountains. 5 star sunrises & sunsets Moon/star gazing fire pit & bathroom screens & 3 campsites IG @howlingmoonTerlingua 12 miles down Terlingua ranch road there are pay only showers & laundromat. Pool available for $5. Keep in mind: Weather may impact road conditions although a 4WD is not required to get to this site. Take it easy on the road once it’s not paved. The space 5 acres of desert land at your disposal. Background of property is north corazones mountain range. To the front of property is nine point Mesa mountain range. There is 360 mountains views. Your booking gets all 5 acres. SELF OPERATED SITE. Leave it better than you found it. We have 3 campsites. A fire pit area for chairs table and canopy that you would like to bring. There is also a yoga-cacti area. We are planting only Chihuahuan native cacti in an attempt to pollination to take place. Our main goal is a clean campsite that can be operated by the guest itself. We have family doing periodicals checkups in the area. Easy access from highway 118. Less than 15 min away from highway. Wildlife on sight! Respect them. Have flashlights on nighttime! Guest access All 5 acres. Watch for no trespassing signs. We have 2 bright purple posts to identify site location when you are driving by. No 4WD required. You can explore all 5 acres. THIS IS A 24/7 hour self check in after 2pm. No need to program a time with us. Arrive when you can. Parking is at front of property. Other things to note Exact coordinates will be provided after booking. Cell service is not reliable in this area. Please be mindful of picking up your belongings when you leave. No one cleans the site other than the guest that is there camping. Please leave it better than you found it. Leave no trace practice. Respect the site for you and for others. This is primitive dry camping site. You must bring everything you need for your adventure. We have 3 sites ready for tent pitching, a fire pit and a privacy bathroom screen for your toilet bucket. DO NOT DRIVE PASSED THE LOGS INTO THE CLEARED CAMP SITE. KEEP VEHICLES ON THE PARKING AREA.
