Engineer's Cabin | King Loft & Hot Tub with views
Description
The Engineer’s Cabin at The Farm is a two-bedroom forest retreat with king beds, treetop views, and access to a shared hot tub. Large picture windows bring the outdoors in, while modern comforts — Wi-Fi, Apple TV, music, and a cozy living space — make it easy to unwind. Just ten minutes from the Langdale ferry and close to Gibsons’ beaches, trails, shops, and restaurants, it offers a peaceful escape that feels connected. Dog-friendly. The space The Engineer’s Cabin is part of The Farm — a seven-acre forested property just outside Gibsons. Elevated among the trees, the cabin feels immersed in nature, with open views that create a sense of light and space. Mornings begin with coffee on the deck and birdsong in the background. The kitchenette includes a Marshall fridge, toaster oven, microwave, and Keurig for simple meals, and evenings are perfect for BBQ dinners and soaking in the shared hot tub after exploring nearby trails or historic Gibsons Landing. Inside, warmth and simplicity meet comfort. The living area includes an arcade table, Wi-Fi, Apple TV, and music. Both bedrooms feature king beds with quality linens and down duvets, creating a restful treetop retreat. Guest access The cabin has a secure electronic keypad for easy self check-in and check-out. Arrival is anytime after 4:00 pm. Guests have access to the outdoor areas surrounding the cabin and the shared hot tub on the property (a short walk away), which seats up to eight guests. Parking is available on the property. Dogs are welcome. Other things to note The cabin is thoughtfully set up for remote work, with reliable Wi-Fi and a dedicated desk in the main-level bedroom for quiet mornings or focused afternoons between forest walks. A loft sleeping area is accessed by ladder, creating a cozy, elevated nook tucked just above the main living space. Guests should be comfortable climbing. The Farm is just five minutes from Gibsons by car, accessed by a short country road that gently marks the transition from town to trees. The first stretch begins to feel like you’ve left the everyday behind and entered a quieter pace. As with most rural roads, we recommend driving slowly and enjoying the approach. The setting is forested and open, where wildlife is part of the natural rhythm of the land. Because sound carries more than it does in town, guests who appreciate a slower, mindful atmosphere tend to feel especially at home here. The Farm hosts a limited number of weddings and private celebrations each season. Events take place in separate areas of the property, and guest privacy is always respected. This is one of a small collection of private cabins at The Farm.
