Rock to sleep "sailboat style!” This 26' 1974 Grampian invites you to a unique experience. Perfect for date night or a short getaway. Gramps is a beautiful vintage sailboat, docked in amazing Toronto on Lake Ontario. This dream boat is a floating tiny house which does not have hot water, electricity, or a fridge (we recommend bringing a cooler). There's a cozy atmosphere, cooking facilities, and a portable toilet on board. The space This 1974 Grampian Sailboat would probably have many tales of the high seas to tell! It is a fully functional sailboat. It’s a small and cozy place to have a new experience, relax, and daydream about life at sea. Also there’s an onboard portable toilet easily emptied at the end of your stay at the marina. It has a little propane grill aboard as well. Gramps is a historic sailboat, an Oakville-built creation. The boat is 26 feet long with around the same interior space. The nose of the boat has a cozy space with a very comfortable bed that sleeps 2. The nose has a ceiling window feature, great for fresh air and air circulation and for letting the sunlight into the main cabin from above! In the main cabin, there are two single beds. There is a full roof top deck, perfect for stargazing, yoga or suntanning and a front deck for lounging and has a swimming ladder. The boat has 1 door and two windows, and many more handmade rustic features! There is no 120v electricity on the boat (which means no regular plug in electricity). We can provide a power pack for charging your devices if needed. On board is a portable toilet. There are no locks on the boat from the outside. Only from the inside. It's a safe place and very quiet. Note: The Boat will be moored and guests cannot drive the boat. The boat is on Lake Ontario. Pls note the boat is on the water. Wear appropriate footwear! High heels not recommended ;) We supply: -butane and fuel for cooking stove 3 SEASON STAYS: The sailboat has two windows. Making for a very cozy time all year long. It's very comfortable in the spring and fall. Bring some slippers or big socks. The deck of the boat can be slippery if there is rain so please arrive in appropriate footwear. There is no running water, but the drain in the sink still works and therefore guests can still do dishes, etc. We ask that guests warm a pot of water on the stove to have hot water for doing dishes to make sure they are shiny for the next guests! Other things to note This is a unique experience! Super cozy, very attractive and romantic - that provides a camping stove and a portable toilet. It is crucial to stick to the check in time that is decided upon together; since we do not live on site. We plan our whole day around the check in time. No electricity No running water No wifi No fridge (we recommend bringing a cooler with ice packs) No access to the marina clubhouse Boat is moored in the water - take a rowboat to and from the boat There is a camping 2-burner stove for cooking, as well as pots and pans and a Bodum for coffee. Bring food and water. Bring your own bedding and towels. No pets allowed. With that said we love pets just want to make it nice for everybody especially the cleaning people certainly service dogs or an exception but there will be a $75 cleaning fee No smoking or vaping allowed.
