Welcome to this one-of-a-kind escape! The centerpiece of our 20 acres of beautiful Catskill terrain is a waterfall just a short walk through the woods behind the house. Its rushing water provides a natural soundtrack as you enjoy our large backyard and patio; hike 2,800 ft of private riverfront; visit a larger-than-life modern sculpture; grill and dine inside a 200-year-old ruin; or savor the warm embrace of several fire pits. Nature abounds in this secluded country home. The space For ultimate serenity, sit across from the hypnotic waterfall on a private island that’s perfect for yoga, meditating, sipping cocktails, or soaking up the sun. In warmer weather, swim or paddle in the magnificent, old quarry water hole. The Location Our secluded house is situated at the end of a private road two hours from NYC and a short drive to Woodstock, Saugerties, Hudson, and several ski mountains. The Space Choose one of two living quarters – or both: There is a main house, and a separate apartment with its own entrance. The owner does not live on the property. For service emergencies, a caretaker lives nearby. Main House 3 full bedrooms on the entry level can sleep up to 6 (one room has smart TV) 1 master bedroom upstairs features a wood burning stove, large smart TV/DVD player, and huge outdoor deck Also on entry level: full kitchen, dining area, living room with wood stove, two full bathrooms (with towels, toilet tissue, soap, shampoo and conditioner), washer/dryer; sliding glass doors to patio, grill, backyard Apartment At the opposite end of the same building, one flight up to a spacious well-lit area with large screen TV/DVD player, comfortable sofas, two queen size beds (sleep 4) Also in apartment: full kitchen, full bathroom with supplies, plus a separate bedroom with queen bed (sleeps 2) Guest access everywhere, a large part of the garage will store owner's year round possessions Other things to note This is a country house surrounded by nature. There are insects outside as well as animals. It is their home too :)
