“Betty” is a Cozy Cabin with Huge Deck with Great Views. Betty is 500 square feet and just 10 minutes to Phoenicia and Pine Hill and all the great hiking of the Central Catskills. Part of a 1940s bungalow colony lovingly restored, every cabin offers privacy without isolation. My place is good for couples and furry friends (pets). You’ll love my place because of the views and the outdoor space The space "Rose Mountain Cottages" was built as Feitzingers Cabins in the late 1940s. It was a traditional Bungalow Colony with one- and two-bedroom cabins. Currently, three fully renovated one-bedroom cabins are available for year-round rental “Betty, Shelly, and Wendy. "Betty" was built around 1946 with local pine timbers. She was completely renovated in 2011 to be comfortable and cozy. Open layout with one bedroom. Fully functional kitchen. Tiled bathroom with tub. Betty is decorated for that mid-century modern, meets Catskill feel. Guest access The cabins sit on 62 acres of our private wooded mountain, which is bordered by both state land and other property owners. The cabins sit below the mountain close to our quiet country road. Across the street, there is 1/4 mile of private frontage on the Esopus River for fishing and cooling off in the shallow flowing water during the hot summer months. We have converted the old swimming pool into a lily pond and garden area. The streamside firepit, large, covered gazebo, on-deck gas grill, and the gentle flow of the creek offers a nice place to hang out with our other guests, BBQ, and stargaze on a clear night. The former pool is now a lily pond that is located to your left as you walk down the stone stairway from the street to the stream. We like to let guests have their privacy but be available when necessary. Great hiking, skiing, and other outdoor sports. Wonderful swimming hole nearby. Excellent restaurants and cultural amenities. Other things to note We are a pet friendly property. Please be sure that when you are booking a pet friendly cabin with a pet make sure to include your pet in the booking as we do have a $10.00 pet fee. Giving us your pet information such as their name(s) ect, will help to expedite your reservation request. If you are booking and travel with a service animal, please let us know your service animals name, etc.
