Cabin in Island Park

The Storybook A-frame is a cozy retreat located in the forest of Island Park. The cabin has a main floor bedroom, an open loft, 1 bathroom and a bunkhouse over the garage. Set back on a spacious lot with a pull-thru driveway and year-round access. Close to trails, reservoirs, rivers, and just 35 min from Yellowstone National Park. Nestled in the woods among large fir trees and wildflowers, it’s the perfect place to escape to. The space Our cabin is located in a fairly secluded area of Island Park on a wooded lot. There is a covered and partially screened deck for enjoying the surroundings There is a firepit for making s'mores, and many creature comforts inside that will help make your stay cozy and fun. The bunk room above the garage is a great hang out for the kids while the adults or the entire family can enjoy the main cabin for card games and movies. It's a great place to come home to after a full day spent out seeing the sights in Yellowstone NP, fishing at Henry's Lake, swimming at Island Park Reservoir, floating the river from Big Springs to Mack's Inn, or any of the other many outdoor venues that surround Island Park. Our cabin is perfectly situated for all of your summer & winter activities so bring your toys.... or rent some when you get here. The circular drive makes it easy to park your trailer and unload. Great ATV trails & snowmobiling right out your back door. LOFT STAIRS: Spiral staircase that has openings large enough for a small child to fall through. BUNKHOUSE: Located above the garage and is a separate space from the main home. PLEASE LOOK AT PICTURES AND PICTURE DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY TO MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE LAYOUT OF OUR HOME. MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN. Guest access Guests have full access to main cabin and bunkhouse over the garage. The garage is unavailable and is for owners' use only. BUNKHOUSE: Located above the garage and is a separate space from the main home. GAS FIREPLACE: In winter months this is the heat source for the home. There is no guard or barrier to prevent a child from touching. This home has two outdoor security cameras for safety precautions. The cameras show the driveway, garage and well house only. There is no visibility to the house, decks, outdoor living area or fire pit area. Be sure to read and understand the house rules, especially regarding clean-up and check-in/check-out times. Also, please be aware you are in the forest and many animals have frequented our area surrounding the cabin. This includes bear, moose, and deer. They are fun to observe from a safe distance, but do not try to approach any animal. Do not leave food or trash outside the cabin, as it can attract bears.
