Our property (3.8 acres in total) includes a very private house on our own 2 acre flat pad at the top of a hill with 360 degree views of the Santa Monica Hills. Our price per day is $2,500. Shideh and Terry would like to welcome you to their one in a million new custom- built house that allows you to fully experience the Southern Californian lifestyle. You can rent one or both of the two guest bedrooms or conduct photo shoots using the entire property. The price per day is $2,500. You will have full access to the kitchen, living, dining, view, laundry, family rooms, kitchen nook, pool, jacuzzi and the grounds on the property. There is an additional $250/ day if you wish the pool heated, however, in July through September the pool is usually above 80 degrees in the afternoon/evening just from the heat of the sun. We will never host more than one group of people. By that we mean that the guests that we do host will always know each other. The house is our home and we will remain in the house. The features of our house and property include: - Over 6,000 square feet of single-story open area contemporary design located in the Santa Monica mountains - Total privacy of a 3.8 acre elevated property while at the same time being in a secure gated community - 360 panoramic views of the Santa Monica mountains from almost every room in the house - Beautiful landscaping with multiple sitting spots to enjoy a cup of coffee, glass of wine or a picnic and the views (sunsets and sunrises) - 14 foot vaulted ceilings - Huge gourmet kitchen and all the utensils - Swimming pool and jacuzzi - 2 guest rooms with en suite bathrooms, beautiful views and their own entrances. - A large round mostly glass view room with breathtaking views of the Santa Monica mountains and sunrises beside the 2 guest rooms. - Covered outdoor porches, nano doors, glass French doors, multiple windows allow for the true indoor/outdoor experience in all seasons - Sonos sound system which will allow you to listen to the music you want inside or outside the house by the pool or jacuzzi - Close to a number of high-quality golf courses. If you are on your own and wish a playing partner Terry would be happy to join you. - 15 minutes to Malibu beaches, Westlake and Commons outdoor shopping malls - Easy driving distance to such LA attractions as Universal Studios, Getty Centre, Los Angeles zoo, Santa Monica pier - Fruit trees that provide fresh peaches, apricots, pomegranates, limes, mulberries and oranges in season -- Less than a 1 hour drive to Santa Barbara and the various attractions on the way - Close to a number of vineyards . We both enjoy meeting new people or just staying out of their way if that is their preference. For those who wish to bring their dog to make the stay complete we are ok with hypoallergenic dogs weighing 20 pounds or less. Other things to note We live in a noise-sensitive small HOA. Accordingly we are only looking for guests who are interested in a relaxing, quiet stay in a luxurious place with unbelievable views. If it is important for a guest to bring their dog then we are OK with house-trained hypoallergenic dogs that weigh 20 pounds or less. It should also be noted that, other than the drive from the community gates to our property and out, guests do not have access to any HOA common area. For guests who wish to come in and out more than once we have a gate remote to allow you to do that.
