The neighborhoods are filled with beach loving families. To get to Long Beach you can take the LIRR to NYC. JFK is only 20mins away! It's a perfect location to enjoy NYC and the beach at the same time. Taxi's wait at Long Beach station and will take you to the west end for only $5 per person.
