One full-bathroom upstairs and one half-bathroom downstairs. ______________ This Location is facing the Metropolitan Park where you can Walk, Run, Bike, on the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail. Walking distance to the Festival Beach with Lake Access, Kayaking, Canoeing, Stand-up Paddle-board rentals, and neighborhood public pool a few blocks away. Pool is open in the summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Drop in a Canoe, Boat or Kayak at the Festival Beach Boat Ramp across the street from us. Note: No motorized boats. ______________ Make a shorter 20 min Bike ride loop around the lake, 3.7 miles total, going on the north and south sides of the lake. (1 hour walk) >>The Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike trail extends 10 miles around the lake, 5 miles on the north side, 5 miles on the south side of the Lake.<< On the South side - the newly built Boardwalk is a part of the Trail, which is a paved concrete dock that extends over the lake - Wheelchair Accessible. From any part of the Trail, you have beautiful views of the city, the park path goes along the water, viewing Austin's beautiful Cypress trees, native plants, flowers, ducks, swans and turtles that live in the Metropolitan park. ______________ There are plenty of gyms nearby for Fitness, Yoga & Climbing (ABP - Austin Bouldering Project), usually first time to most classes or gyms are free! Guest access This AirB&B has it's own private entrance. The entrance is past the main building, Suite B entrance is on the left hand side of the main building. It is not attached, but it is it's own separate building. Plenty of entertaining space for family, and parking in the lot across the street. Please let us know if you will be having guests visit you. The owner of the Airbnb lives in he front house, so please be considerate when arriving past 10pm in the evening. Quiet hours around 10pm to be considerate of the neighbors with kids and babies. ______________ Parking is free in the lot for the Park across the street from the house. Other things to note Cyclists : : The university of Texas has a bike map online that routes the safest streets that are good for cyclists. Austin has great trail rides too. Runners & Hikers : : Check out the 5 or 10 mile trail all around the lake, connecting north and south of the lake. We are on the north side of the lake - facing the Edward Renton Park. Try the boardwalk on the south side of the lake for beautiful sunsets and the city skyline.
