Midway between Woodstock and Phoenicia. Restore yourself! The space The magic of this house is that it is down a long driveway, surrounded only by woods, hiking trails, and the sound of nature -- yet the artistic and restaurant-filled communities of Woodstock and Phoenicia are a short drive away. Very modern home with architectural features and spa-like pleasures. Expect to see turkeys and deer wandering through. You can have a small campfire on the grounds and of course a BBQ. Or sip cocktails on the many decks or the screened porch. Our kitchen is very well-stocked with cookware, cutlery, and serving pieces. With a kitchen/dining area that flows into the living room, there is plenty of room to socialize. And you are welcome to use the small, private office with standing desk; there is a second desk in the upstairs bedroom as well. Guest access You can be as modern or rustic as you care to be here, and of course the whole house is yours. While it is built to highlight the natural setting, we also depend on connectivity -- so you have reliable WiFi, television and Roku in both bedrooms and a decent sound system. Verizon and ATT have good cell access (TMobile, not so much), and there is a house phone with free calls nationwide. You are welcome to use the small, private office with standing desk; there is a second desk in the upstairs bedroom as well.
