Camping by the River

This Campsite is situated on the Moira River between Tweed and Madoc. It is on my 4 acres of property and my house is in within site depending on where you set up. I have a canoe that is available for use to explore the semiprivate river. The campsite has the cleanest outhouse and a outdoor shower with hot water. There are many trails to explore as well as local conservation parks. Let me know what you're interested in and I can show you the way. The space Campsite is situated approximately 200ft from my house. It’s in a bit of a valley so once set up you feel private. You have the whole property plus 1000 acres of crown land that has trails on it to explore. I have a canoe for you to use for free. There is a compost outhouse that is clean and doesn’t smell like an outhouse. There is also an outdoor shower. You can park close to your campsite or further away if you want extra space. There is room for at least three tents that are fairly level. The river is rocky and fun to explore in. There are some weeds and not ideal for swimming for some. However I myself swim in it in one area that I can show you where to go and there isn’t many weeds. Water shoes a must. Great fishing in the river also. There is a dog and cat on the property and also expect the neighbours dog to visit for a few minutes. All are friendly. You can bring your pets but please pick up after them and they MUST be good with other animals. There is dead wood, fallen trees that I’ve cut up and left around the property if you want to gather your free wood. Guest access You'll have access to the whole property to roam as you like. There are trails and forest to explore. Other things to note There is an outhouse on the campsite. Don't forget to bring bug repellant, and water shoes if you want to explore the river.
