Sugar Pines Inn a great place to stay

Snow in Big Bear. Our rental brings the mountains indoors with a hand painted mural and nature inspired decor. Enjoy time sitting relaxing next to the wood stove. Use our rental as a home base for your adventures. Whether you're coming up for a wedding or heading to Big Bear to go skiing, you will enjoy your stay. We are close enough to the ski slopes, lake or trail but just outside the busy lake resort area. Enjoy Scenic drives, glow tubing on the slopes with the family. The space Do all grocery shopping before heading up the mountain or when making trips to big bear. Chains may be required for traveling to the rental and to Big Bear. Sugar Pines Inn is a 525 sq ft bottom level attached space to our family home, fully private space with two entrances, one with a keyless entry. Also enjoy all for yourself a deck with table and chairs with a view of the trees. It is clean and comfortable, has tasteful finishing touches with nature inspired decor. The studio style space is ideal for two adults and small children. Enjoy time out on the deck just relaxing, or snowplay in the backyard when there is snow on ground. warm yourself by the wood stove. *Parking There is one compact parking spot available for your stay on our property and NO on street parking allow. •Bedroom Separate from the living space, you will find the queen size bed, set in a sleek wood frame, side tables and desk for finishing up work if need be. The bedroom set against a backdrop of a hand-painted mural. We use all white sheets, coverlet and duvet (during cold weather)with a colored warmth layer, to finish off the comfortable bed. Additional sleeping: The living room couch has a queen pull-out bed. *Living space The heart of the rental is the wood burning stove and a accent chair to relax in. The sofa bed is a comfortable full size sofa with standard queen size mattress. There is a TV that has a chrome cast that you can cast from a compatible smart device( Android) or (i phone with google home app) You will also find a bar height table that seats two , that sits next to the wood stove. Additional dinning is outside at deck table. •Kitchen Very usable stocked kitchen, suitable to cooking full meals and baking. It is equipped with a full size refrigerator, stove and microwave electric kettle and Keurig coffee maker.( coffee, tea and sweetners are supplied) * Bathroom Bright and roomy with a tub shower combo. Enjoy white clean crisp towels. There are extras on hand In case you need them. no washer dryer. *Desk area The rental also is set up with a desk area so you can work from the mountains instead of at home. *Private Deck The large deck extends the living space into the outdoors. Enjoy morning coffee out on the deck listening to the birds, be entertained by the squirrels and watch our chickens and rabbit that are house on our property. Guest access To access our property, first read the check-in instructions on where to park. Park in front of our house in the driveway in front of the propane tank. special instructions when snow is in forest. **Please do not drive down the steep driveway.** At this point, I will see you arriving and greet you, then show you to the rental. wifi: please download Goo gle home app before arriving to cast to TV with any subscription based service. Other things to note Check for forest closures * Please watch your step, there are steep slopes around our home. * Only play in snow on our property. *Cell phone service can be very spotty. Please check with your service provider to see if they serve our area. If your phone does not work in our area, Check to see if your phone has Wi-Fi calling. you can ask all the questions ahead of time or please feel free to knock on our door with any questions. *We have a TV that has a chrome cast that you can stream to from any compatible smart device. (Android) or ( I phone with g oogle home app) *Please note if you are working or zooming from Sugar Pines Inn, Due to the nature of mountain internet, service can be inconsistent. *Due to the more remote location of Sugar Pines Inn, we highly recommend that you do all grocery shopping down the hill before you head up to Sugar Pines Inn. It is a 20-30 min. drive to a good variety of grocery stores and restaurants. *In the San Bernardino mountains where Sugar Pines Inn is located, we have relatively mild weather during all seasons. During the summer we encourage you to open the windows with the fans on to let the cool night air in. This naturally cools the apartment. Closing the windows during the hot part of the day and turning on the fan is all you will need for cooling the apartment. During the fall and winter time, we hope that you will enjoy building small fires in the wood burning stove. There is something so inviting about a warm fire in wood burning stove.
