The Yellow Cottage with an Inviting Hot Tub

Well equipped home with a cozy cottage style interior that we hope portrays an inviting easygoing feeling. This house was our “Fixer Upper”. We have made numerous upgrades for your comfort. The property has private parking. We are located off I-40 and historic Route 66. We are only 20 minutes from Oklahoma City. We had the privilege of The Yellow Cottage being used as the home of one of the main characters in the movie 13 Minutes. It was filmed in 2021 and released in 2022. This private home comfortably sleeps up to 5 guest. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood in the original township of El Reno. A great alternative to the local hotels. This home is ideal for those who are in the area for business, a family getaway, a girls/guys weekend or anyone needing a comfortable place to stay. The Yellow Cottage has a large living room with plenty of seating, 3 bedrooms, one full bath with a shower and a half bath, full size kitchen with all new appliances, laundry room with a washer and dryer, a large new deck and hot tub, and a large back yard with a privacy fence. Full access to the home. Private parking in a drive way (3-4 cars) as well as off street parking and covered parking for one vehicle. The deck contains a hot tub and all children must be accompanied by an adult when on the deck or in the back yard due to hot tub safety. We want to allow our guests privacy but are available by text/phone/in person for needs and concerns as well as to offer recommendations to local restaurants, activities, and shopping. A notebook will be located in the living room book case with information about El Reno and surrounding areas. This home is located in the historic section of El Reno where many 100 year old homes have been beautifully restored. The Yellow Cottage is approximately 6 blocks from the downtown area. Easy access to I-40 and historic Route 66. We have found this area to be a quiet and safe neighborhood. You will find plenty of parking at The Yellow Cottage that includes the private driveway and off street parking. In addition, there is room for one car under the car port. The good news is that most everything is close by the Yellow Cottage. The cozy cottage design of the house is a comfortable space for families or individuals. The home is located in a quaint historic neighborhood. We are excited to learn that El Reno has been named the first city in Oklahoma to achieve “Film Friendly Community Certification” according to the OK Film and Music Office. We have seen a steady increase in film, television, and music video production in our community with The Yellow Cottage having the opportunity to be used in a movie and a music video. We can’t wait to see what is filmed in El Reno next. We have always maintained a high standard of cleanliness at The Yellow Cottage and will continue to do so utilizing cleaning products that meet the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2.
