Welcome to Blue Skies Guesthouse! Come and enjoy this large private studio cottage in a cute suburban backyard. This is such a relaxing and cheerful space. Spacious open floor plan, lots of bright light ,simple, modern, and clean. Walking distance to many restaurants and stores but nestled in a family friendly and quiet neighborhood perfect for some rest and relaxation. Ten minutes from University of Oregon, 15 minutes from downtown Eugene. The space We are located in a wonderful neighborhood with fantastic neighbors. The kind of place that kids still play in the yard during the day but everyone is quiet at night. We are happy friendly people that would love to host you...from a social distance ;) (Beware no tv provided but great wifi). We love to garden and although our property is just a normal sized city lot we are busy tucking away blueberry bushes here and a corn patch there. . .we love permaculture and growing some of our own food. The cottage is detached and is located behind our house and has a private walkway and entrance. The cottage features wonderful kitchen space with full fridge, stovetop, countertop oven, coffee maker, tea pot, (coffee and tea provided) popcorn popper, and other kitchen essentials. There is a darling dining space that can also work as a wonderful workspace. Wifi is provided but there is no TV so you would need to view things on your own device. A comfortable queen sized bed is the main sleeping option but there is also a comfortable and spacious Serta futon sofa. The bathroom is spacious with a large shower. We supply all regulars a hotel would like bedding, pillows, towels and soap options. There is a beautiful covered patio space as well as a hot tub that guests are welcome to use if respectful of keeping the quiet peaceful atmosphere of the space. We also live here but we are happy to share this space with our guests! The cottage would not be a good fit for guests looking for a place to have a party or invite unregistered guests over-please see house rules before booking to make sure it is the right place for you :) Getting around is easy here. There are bus stops within walking distance, beautiful bike trails to get you about anywhere you could need to go in the area, and we are walking distance to many stores and restaurants. In a jiffy you can visit the best brewery locations in Eugene or Springfield, Planktown and The Public House (converted from an old church into a brewery with food carts style restaurants inside as well as some of Springfields best bakeries and downtown eateries. Downtown Springfield has a Friday Farmers Market from 3:00 to 7:00. There is also a Downtown art walk the third Friday of every month. It is fun to stroll through the quaint shops, antiques and second hand stores, all this within close proximity to Blue Skies. There are so many wonderful places to explore in the Willamette Valley! So many beautiful walking and river trails, hikes, vineyards, and day trips.
