Cozy guest room - quiet getaway - wine country

At this time we can host ONLY guests with profiles & prior Airbnb reviews. Guest room attached to, but separated from, main house. Perfect for 1 or 2 guests. Private entrance, short walk to McCabe's beach, free parking, private bath, queen size bed, beach chairs, AC, Wi-Fi, shampoos, soaps, towels, balcony, desk, "kitchenette" w/small fridge, coffee, teas, microwave, toaster, utensils, electric kettle. No stove. We are required to collect a room occupancy tax. Please see our 5-star reviews. The space Perfect for folks wanting a quiet escape or change of scene. Short or longer term visits available. We provide complete privacy with little or no contact after our initial safe distanced introduction and walk-thru, unless you need us for something. PETS ARE PERMITTED BUT PLEASE DISCUSS BEFOREHAND. As much as we would enjoy getting to know our interesting guests better, they can expect just about zero personal contact with us. Our loss. However, we will immediately respond to text messages or phone calls if you need anything. We will generally be in the house & available to answer questions or provide you with whatever you need. We can be reached by phone or text at any hour. Some guests bring stuff for sandwiches, bagels, etc and utilize the fridge, toaster, microwave, electric kettle or coffee maker for comfy meal without having to drive to town. Plates, cups, glasses, utensils, napkins supplied. Utilize small folding table for al fresco dining on the balcony. Leisurely short walk to McCabe's beach. No fires or litter please. Take a beach chair and watch the sunset! Other than use of the microwave, electric grilling or use of a camp stove is strictly prohibited. Sorry, no smoking, no vaping in room or on grounds. And, no parties. Quiet rustic, not fancy vibe here. ...uncomplicated. Our cancellation policy is listed as "strict" but we understand things can happen... We email our frequently updated "General Info and Points of Interest" pages to you ahead of time and leave a printed copy in guest room. We love it here and hope you do as well! Apologies. PLEASE NOTE: We are now required to collect and forward to Suffolk County occupancy tax of 5.5% of the per-diem room rate. An official Suffolk County "Certificate of Authority" to collect this tax is posted in the guest room as we have been instructed. Guest access Guest room, on site parking, private entrance, deck, private bath w/shower, short stroll to McCabe's beach. During your stay After initial walk-thru expect little or no interaction between hosts and guests. However, hosts are immediately available if needed. Other things to note Check in anytime after 2:00 PM. Check out by 2:00 PM. For some reason the often cumbersome airbnb website proclaims we provide "self check-in" (??) This is not the case. We need to be here when you arrive to indicate where to park (free) and show you into the room. We will be here whenever you like on check-in day. On your arrival day simply let us know approximately when to expect you. Thanks!
