There is a new access to tidal Fore River for swimming, kayak access, etc. Available upon request are 2 hy-bred bikes, 2 kayaks and a hot tub. A continental breakfast is provided. A large 2nd floor unit on the water! IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THIS UNIT IS NOT AN APARTMENT BUT A PRIVATE SUITE WITHIN OUR HOME. While we do share the same first floor rear entrance, the second floor unit is your private space. Includes private deck, two bikes, two kayaks in a very bikeable and walkable neighborhood with a diverse housing stock. Also access to a private beach, tv/movie options in room and travel books along with touring advice if needed. Ferry Village is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Southern Maine and offers great walking and biking. We are one mile from Bug Light Park and Willard Beach, 3 miles from downtown Portland and the Old Port and 4 miles from the Maine Mall and Jetport. 1/4 mile to bus stop. There is a hammock in private rear yard. In the summer and fall rooms are at a premium in Southern Maine. This can also be offered as a two bedroom if needed. There is a sperate listing for the two bedroom. There is ample street parking. Use of the kayaks require a short carry.
