At night visit a Casino, attend a concert, dine in town, cook smores over the firepit, enjoy the country night, lay in the grass to view the sky full of stars. The space This beautiful house offers the best of both worlds - it's perfect for a large group to gather, yet provides private spaces for individual families. The rental includes three (or four with the add-on) separate units within the renovated home, all accessible from the main entrance. Guests can move between units, which can be secured or left open as needed. Each unit, detailed further below, features 1-2 bathrooms with showers (no bathtubs), a kitchen or kitchenette, and a living area, all furnished with new pieces and large TVs. The most spacious unit, spanning the second and third floors, is equipped with ample dinnerware to serve a 20-person meal, allowing the entire group to dine together. The house comprises four distinct units as detailed below: 1. "Treetop:" A two-story unit occupying the 2nd and 3rd floors, featuring three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, an outdoor deck, a sitting room, and a living room. The third floor serves as an indoor "hang out" area with ample seating, a daybed, TV, foosball, and air hockey. Treetop includes three bedrooms: two with queen beds and one with twin beds. Additional sleeping arrangements include a double bed/daybed on the third floor and two convertible chair/twin beds in the sitting room, accommodating up to 10 people. 2. "Meadow:" A three-bedroom unit on the ground floor, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with TV, an outdoor deck, and 1.5 bathrooms. It offers two bedrooms with queen beds (one also has a small futon couch suitable for a child) and a third bedroom with twin beds. Meadow can comfortably sleep up to 7 people. 3. "Carmine's:" A single-bedroom unit on the ground floor, featuring a kitchenette with a small stove, sink, coffee maker, and microwave, a living area with TV, and one bathroom. The bedroom includes a queen bed, and the living room has two convertible chairs that transform into twin beds, allowing for a maximum of 4 occupants. 4. An additional "daughter-style" unit is available, which includes one bedroom with a queen bed, one full bathroom, a kitchenette, and a living room with a sofa that converts into a bed suitable for one adult or two children. This unit has a separate entrance and is available for an extra $200 per night. If you would like to add this unit on, please message us so that we can adjust the price. Pets are allowed but we charge an extra $50 per pet. We charge an extra $25 per person per night for more than 16 people, up to a total of $100 extra per night. There is a synagogue in town (two miles away) which is open year round ,a synagogue at the local Satmar bungalow (open in the summer) which is 1/4 miles away, and a synagogue at Camp Horim, (open in the summer) 1 mile away. We are less than 5 miles from Woodburn, which has a large kosher supermarket. The Catskills offer a slice of outdoor heaven. The expansive yard boasts mature trees, a fire pit, a Weber grill, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, a hammock, a small playground for toddlers, and farm animals that are visible from the house and a mere two-minute walk away. A variety of games are available for indoor and outdoor fun. Animal feed is provided in each unit for guests to feed the horses, donkeys, and sheep, and fresh eggs from our chickens are yours to enjoy. Come July, you can pick wild blueberries to your heart's content. The hiking trails on our property are relatively level, making for an easy stroll to the pond and back. The country roads are perfect for bike riding (albeit hilly), local hills make great sledding in the winter, and world class hiking in the Shawangunk Mountains is just 1/2 hour away. There is an outdoor community pool in the town park 1 mile from the house, and many local streams allow public fishing. There are mountain lakes nearby to swim or boat, such as Morningside Lake in Fallsburg (which rents paddle boats and row boats and also has a new community pool), or Starlight Marina in Monticello (which rents platoon boats). Public golf courses are plentiful. If you tire of nature, Legoland, the Kartrite Water Park (NY's largest indoor water park), and the Resorts World Casino are all just1/2 hour away, while Woodbury Commons, with hundreds of outlet stores, is 45 minutes away. The town of Mountaindale, 2 miles down the road, is a hip destination with live music on weekends, an outdoor bar and restaurant by the creek, the best pizza in upstate NY, a wine/cheese and produce shop, a thrift shop and a herbal shop, a yoga studio, art studios, and a monthly outdoor market. And Bethel Woods (45 minutes away) has concerts throughout the summer. Guest access There is a parking lot which fits 8 cars. You need a car to get around the neighborhood. Other things to note There is a washing machine/dryer for clothing located in the house. You may see other people, including the owners or workers or other guests, visiting the Farm or using the trails.
