This daylight basement apartment is bright and warm, located off-street on a one-acre, wooded property so it's super private, yet smack dab in the heart of Olympia. Room for 3 with a recently remodeled kitchen and bathroom with bathtub, queen size bed in bedroom and full size large comfy couch for one more. It feels really good for for a small apartment. History - A unique local gem ! The home is a stunning architectural treasure built for the Olympia Brewery family in 1921. The secluded home sits atop a wooded bluff on the Deschutes River. You can see the old Olympia Brewery and Tumwater Falls - the famous waterfall on the old Olympia Beer can - is just 5 minutes away. The Urban Cellar the perfect home base for your Northwest Adventures. Take a short drive into the country or a hike through one of our many gorgeous parks. Plan your escapes to the Pacific Coast, the Olympic Peninsula or the Emerald City for the day, and come home to roost in seclusion. Please note the home is shared with other guests and tenants and we are located near the highway so there is some overflow noise. There are also additional fees for extra guests, laundry and other optional services. Guest access The entrance is through or around the breezeway on the left side of the house. PLEAAE NOTE : There is small set of awkward stairs and a light switch in the breezeway for your porch (the first on the left). You may wander the property and enjoy the back deck and gardens, just be careful as the slope is steep. *** We offer Luggage drop-off for free and Early Check-In, Late Check-out, Extra cleaning and Room Service upon request for an extra fee. Other things to note **** Quiet time begins at 11pm. * * * Since we are located next to I-5 and the home is shared with other humans you may wish to reconsider if you are extremely sensitive to noise or an unusually light sleeper. Most people don't have a problem with the noise as it is fairly quiet inside. * * * Also, Washington is a legal Marijuana state and tabbacco is also permitted on the property. But it's a big property. We can accommodate, but if you have a big problem with a little smoke and can't speak up, this may not be the place for you. * * * In general, we do not police our guests' or residents' behavior, but we are super friendly and we appreciate clear communication. * * * In other words, please do not complain in a review if you can't talk to us about it first. We like to be good hosts and give you a good experience. Thank you FEES: Extra guest fee is $25 per guest per person, per night Early check-in and late check-out available for $25 Fee. Unintentional late check out or unauthorized guest will be charged $ per instance. Laundry is in the main house and only available when we are home. The fee is $15 per load. The Westside Laundry is close by and they do provide inexpensive same-day Wash-N-Fold drop-off services.
