The space NEW UPGRADES to the house including a newly built deck, outdoor furniture, a kitchen island, an upgraded shower head, and a new king-size bed. Completely remodeled in 2020, The Round House in the Clouds has everything you need for a unique and comfortable stay. The house is located in the heart of one of North Carolina’s most family friendly areas. Walk to Hawk’s Nest Tubing & Zip Line and Otter Falls is a mile away. So, whether you like to hike, ski, or explore the many quaint nearby towns, this retreat is a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. LIVING ROOM/KITCHEN/DINING Roku TV for streaming (Hulu, Disney Plus and Netflix are included), board games, puzzles, wood stove (firewood available for purchase), entry nook with antler hooks, boot tray and mirror. The kitchen features quartz countertops, tiled backsplash, stainless steel sink, brass faucet, gas stove and stainless steel appliances. There is no garbage disposal or dish washer. The kitchen is equipped to allow you cook a wonderful meal! We left one set of cabinets empty for your pantry items. Kitchen amenities we provide: Keurig single cup coffee maker, French press for coffee, pots, pans, cookie sheets, baking dishes, salad bowl, whirl-pop popcorn maker, serving trays and bowls, various cutting board sizes, pasta strainer, good knives for chopping, and a toaster. We also have many various kitchen utensils aside from the basics. We also provide olive oil, salt & pepper, ketchup, mustard, sugar, cooking spray and some basic seasonings, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, ziplock bags and and a variety of storage containers. Dining area: Round dining table with four seats, glass top for those messy moments, place mats, and napkins. PRIMARY BEDROOM: Queen size bed, two nightstand dressers, a luggage rack, a coat rack, and a closet. Bedding includes a feather duvet, coverlet, extra blankets, and lots of pillows. ROOSTER BEDROOM: Queen size bed, two nightstands, full length mirror, a luggage rack, a closet, and laundry closet. Bedding includes a feather duvet, coverlet, extra blankets, and multiple of pillows. LINENS: All linens, coverlets, duvet covers, towels, washable rugs and sofa seat cover is washed between EVERY booking! So it’s alway super clean for you! JACK AND JILL SHARED BATHROOM: Two bathrooms with a shower in between, located just off the living room (directly connected to the primary). Both the shower and bathroom floors are tiled. Cabinets and shelves for your toiletries. Complimentary Beekman 1802 shower gel, soap, shampoo, and conditioner! OUTDOOR SPACE: Have dinner on the vintage beer garden table with bistro lights and candles overlooking the spectacular mountain views. New gas grill for cooking out on nice nights. CHILDREN AND INFANTS: We are kid friendly and provide a pack n play and a small chair with tray. PETS: **No Pets** Guest access Do not attempt to go to the basement level, it is very steep and dangerous. I am in the process of installing stairs. Please be sure to adjust the Venetian blinds in the living room and kitchen accordingly in order to keep your cool!
