Nestled along the sweeping countryside of Guthrie, Kentucky, the historic Old Oaks Farm mansion resides on 4.5 acres on the northern Tennessee border. The 5-bedroom 6,776 sq. ft. renovated home is the perfect setting for family getaways and intimate retreats. Conveniently located just 45 minutes north of Nashville, and approximately 30 minutes from Clarksville and Ft. Campbell. The space The mansion includes outdoor entertainment areas with fire pits, white fenced horse stables, and striking backdrops of the Kentucky countryside. Inside the 5-bedroom, 3 bath mansion, enjoy a demonstration kitchen, updated accommodations with interiors provided by Restoration Hardware, and luxury bath products. Truly romantic, The Old Oaks Farm also served as a backdrop for country artist Deana Carter's "Strawberry Wine" music video in 1997, and was the site where famous American poet Robert Penn Warren documented his personal experience with the home in the poem "True Love." Events, such as weddings, and any occasion in which there are more than a total of 10 people on the property require that the mansion be rented through our events website. The property cannot be used for events or parties without permission of the owner. Other things to note Guest can rent the neighboring Smokehouse (sleeps 2) for an additional $250/night plus a cleaning fee of $100. The renovated Smokehouse features: 1. Newly constructed bedroom suite with a king bed, flat-screen TV. 2. Full bathroom with garden tub and shower. 3. Refrigerator 4. Dining room with seating for up to 6 guests. 5.
