Historic Oakland Manor House

Originally built in the early 1900’s, this gracious manor was carefully renovated, preserving its historic craftsman-style. As you pass through the gates & moss-draped oaks, you will feel like you have stepped back in time. This magical, lakeside manor has been the site of many social gatherings, retreats and weddings. Enjoy biking/walking the trails, Speer park, fish from the pier of lake Apopka, or shop and dine just outside our doorstep. Orlando's theme parks are a within a 30 min drive. The space For a relaxing, safe getaway, OMH has 6 themed rooms (Grace, Speakeasy, Sage, Peacock, Mermaid, and Bistro lounge) each with ensuite bathroom. Room themes were crafted by local artists to represent an area, attraction, or the surrounding history. Enter the gracious 5 bedroom, 6.5 bath home to find a dramatic grand staircase and foyer. Throughout the home are abundant large windows, bringing in natural light and views of the park-like yard. The 700 sq. ft. lakeside sunroom has been the site of many social gathering and weddings. OMHouse is set to comfortably sleep 12 people (including pull-out sofa bed), but additional cots (3) can be provided upon request, accommodating up to 15 people. There plenty of room for the whole family. We proudly welcome well behaved, potty trained pets. OMH is just blocks away from the West Orange Bike Trail and within a short drive of Disney, this Retreat has so much to offer you and your loved ones. Guest access You will have the entire main house except for the inn keepers suite (attached but separated from the main house) and storage rooms and supply rooms. The inn keeper suite/apartment is NOT included in the description of the main house. It is attached to the back of the home adjacent to the living room on the first floor but separated by a locked door and has its own private entrance. There are NO shared spaces. The inn keeper will not enter the main home unless there is an emergency, urgent repairs that may be needed or at your request to accommodate any needs you may have. Although the adjacent space may be booked with other guests, this rental is divided from the main home by a locked door on both sides and therefore not shared. If you are a film crew or planning to throw any party such as a wedding or gathering over 12 people, additional fees may apply. Please inquire.
