Kitchen / dining area includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, basic accessories, coffee maker, basic pots and pans, dishes, glasses, utensils. Note: There is no toaster and we do not allow guests to bring any electronic cooking devices due to past problems. Outside the cabin guests are welcome to use the grill and relax on the bench, garden swing, or chairs by the table. Tiny House is located in the Town of Prattsville, NY, about 3 hours from New York City. Prattsville is a small, historic town (about 650 residents) in the northwest part of the Greene County. Located on the Catskill Mountaintop where Greene, Delaware and Schoharie Counties meet above the Schoharie Valley. Situated on a small dead-end side street. There are houses and neighbors near the bungalow as in any other town. NOT "in the woods". Located in walking distance from Main Street. Town of Prattsvile is conveniently located near Windham Mountain (about 15 minutes drive), Hunter Mountain (about 20 minutes drive) and 25 min from Belleayre Mountain. Enjoy the beauty of Catskill Mountains surroundings! Ski during winter season and have fun at the local festivals during spring, summer and fall. Take a walk from the Bungalow to the nearby Schoharie Creek with public beach area, or Pratt Rock Park for a picnic with beautiful views. On your way you will find the Prattsville Museum (Zadock Pratt Museum), Great American grocery store, diner and a local tavern. 2 miles from Red Falls and about 5 miles from Gilboa Reservoir. Usually the required authorization hold is for $150 - but varies depending on length of stay and number or age of guests. Hold gets released/voided after check out. It is to make sure there's no damage, no smoking inside, place is left in neat condition and check out list is followed (lowering heaters, removing garbage, putting dishes away etc). Grocery store is within 5 minutes walk if you need more napkins, toilet paper, etc. Please bring paper towels or charcoal for the grill. ★ Cabin is ideal for a couple. It is small (about 220 square feet). ★ Only the amount of people that you book for are allowed at the property at any time. 2 MAX (including any children) ★ We require names and age of ALL guests. ★ Cabin is NOT set up for infants or children under 12 years old. ★ No animals are allowed, no exceptions ★ WI-FI is coming from the cottage next door. The bin provided by the porch is meant for guests to use during their stay. Guests must remove ALL accumulated waste from the bin and from the cabin upon check-out. You can take it to the Greene County Solid Waste Management in Windham, Hunter, or any available garbage receptacles in public areas. If you are here during a holiday, please take notes of this and remove waste during open days/hours. ★ Surveillance camera is present outside in order to view the driveway, and entry to the house. ★ Most of the time Holiday Weekends require 3 nights stay/charge. ★ Check In/Check Out: Cabin is ready for guests from 4 PM on the day of arrival. Check out is at or before 10 AM. (Earlier check in or later check out can be arranged, for an additional fee. This service is only available in the event that there are no prior guests leaving on the day of your arrival, or arriving on your departure day, and if it does not interfere with our schedule. Please ask and confirm.) ★ SAME DAY BOOKINGS/ARRIVALS: if you're booking the day you would like to arrive, please know that it may take few/several hours to prepare and/or heat the cabin for you.
