Quiet country lodging in a single family home with great views of the valley. Close to Lancaster and York attractions, or used as your launching pad for adventures in Baltimore (1 hr), Harrisburg (45), Hershey (45 min) or Philly (1.5 hrs). In the warmer weather, guests may enjoy lounging on the deck, or an evening in the yard at the fire ring. In cooler months, maybe an evening in the basement for a few billiard games. The space This large room, (17 x 12), has a four poster queen bed . There's room for an air mattress on the floor if you need extra sleeping space. (Bring your own). Private bathroom with tub/shower and double bowl sink. On temperate days, leave your windows open to enjoy the sounds of crickets, owls, tree frogs, or whatever country critter might be making noise that night. There is a wall mounted smart TV in the room. There's a second room listed under "Great Country Views and Hospitality" if you have a party of 4-6 and need more space. Guest access You'll have access the to the kitchen, dining room, sitting room, piano room (You are welcome to gently play our piano without disturbing other guests with respect of quiet times), basment billiard table, deck, front porch and yard (approx 3 acreas). Upstairs (near your bedroom) laundry room is also accessible. During your stay Interaction is up to you. We love to meet new people and would love to get to know you a little better, but understand if you'd would like to lie low and be on your own. Just let us know. Other things to note We have friendly pets, but if you don't want them around, we'll see to it that they're sequestered. We have three dogs, two cats and a gold fish named Betty. In consideration of possible other guests in other rooms, please observe an 11 pm quiet time..
