The Snow View cabin is the oldest property in Cuchara! Built during the mining camp days, this charming cabin offers a taste of Cuchara history mixed with all the modern necessities. Located less than a block from the village of Cuchara and approximately 3 miles from Cuchara Mountain Park. Best of all, NO CLEANING FEES! Decorated with a cozy mountain decor, comfy furnishings along with a selection of antiques to capture the history of this cabin and make you feel at home. The space Snow View is the perfect escape from the hectic daily life for couples or a small family. If you need to work remotely, Snow View has the fastest fiber internet available in our area. The greatest appeal to this cabin is its history in our little community while being conveniently located to offer quick access to the village, Mountain Park, lakes and hiking trails. Come for a few days to unwind or a longer stay and explore our area and experience the true change of pace from other vacation areas. We recently remodeled the bathroom. The full kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances and a standard coffee maker/keurig combo. We provide a guest book inside the property with tons of information on restaurants, local resources/activities and even day trip ideas. Guest access Everything in the cabin is available for guest use. One closet is locked for owner’s possessions. Other things to note Please enjoy and respect the property. Due to fire danger in the mountains, outdoor fires are prohibited. You are welcome to bring your own propane fire pit with the understanding you practice all safety measures. This is bear country. We will have information in the guest book for education on how to co-exist with wildlife in the mountains.
