Congress Blue- 4 BR Historic Track & SPAC Rental

Please read listing in full!!! Want a space to enjoy SPAC, track, and all Saratoga has to offer? Congress Blue is your house! **Please note we do summer rentals only for track season and SPAC special events. Only July and August rentals by weekend or week. We meet our guests at check-in whenever possible. Please be up front about your group size and age range, reason for travel, plans, and needs during your stay. We take pride in our hospitality and want to serve you as best we can! The space We have a four bedroom house (Queen Air mattress available upon request). One smaller room has two twin sized beds (trundle-style) & the other child’s room has a full sized bed, one queen bedroom and a second queen bedroom. Peloton Game room (added 2022) is a great place to store luggage, workout while you are on vacation. Living room and back dining room have sectional couches with recliners, dining seating for six, a front porch to relax on, and a full bath with tub and shower. (Please, please note there is only one bathroom) A back porch/dining room overlooks the expansive yard. ** Please note, as an old home, we have smaller bedrooms and only one bathroom which can get tricky for big groups, please take this into account when choosing and booking our home. Out back— a Weber grill, fire pit, swing, lawn games, and seating for your get together. Plenty of room to spread out. We bought this "fixer upper" ten years ago and are fixing it up into our forever home little by little. If you are attending a concert, you can easily walk to SPAC (1.2 miles). The track is an easy Uber or taxi ride if you don’t want to mess with parking. Grocery stores and pizza places close by as well as the beautiful Saratoga Spa State Park! Additions worth mentioning: Sonos Surround sound Hue overhead lighting in each room Smart TV with Amazon Prime, Netflix, Direct TV and HBO (large screen TV) A/C window units in each bedroom and in living room downstairs Parking- driveway can suit 4 cars and side lawn next to garage only is okay for overflow parking on the grass for a short time. Parking on street is not ideal due to it being a high traffic corner. Please let us know how many vehicles you will be bringing when you book. Guest access You will have a sunny front porch, open kitchen/living room, open dining area (not heated so not ideal in cold weather), four bedrooms, wifi, Direct TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, gas grill and firepit with seating out back. Other things to note Many things in house are original to the house-windows, doors, electrical. We try to strike a balance between old and new in decor and upgrades, but this is not a newly remodeled home. The kitchen has access to fridge, oven, microwave, range and sink. No dishwasher at this time. A dog lives on the premises but will not be present for the rental. We leave our belongings in closets since we only rent for weekend stays typically. If you book for longer, we will have more personal belongings removed. This is our home where our two children are growing up so we keep it in a condition that we can use in between rentals. Please also note: We are high school teachers and continue to do a lot of work ourselves to the house. Since our house is in a constant state of improvement, sometimes changes are made right up to your arrival. These are usually positive changes and we try to update new photos each time a change is made! I also usually send photos to you via message for full disclosure.
