Cozy single room with single bed, closet, refrigerator, television, air conditioner. Facing the back of the house it is a quiet room. Ideal for single visitors or workers. This room has a single bed, 2 dressers, and desk, closet and bathroom nearby. Big old house with library, near railroad station to New York city and ferries to Fire Island. Easy walk to restaurants and bars of Patchogue, Long island. Near Patchogue Center for Performing Arts Art Space and Plaza Cinema. Wifi available as is cable tv. It is a 15 minute walk into Patchogue Village Main street, two sushi place,s great pizza at DelFiores, ribs at BarbQ, food and beer at Blue Point Brewery is great. There are plenty of great restaurants. Give me a call if you need a ride from the train station. Streets are tree lined with period lighting and sidewalks great for a walk. My place is unique because of its library and woodcarvings and masks from around the world. There are woodfloors throughtout the house. The kitchen is an orignal 1950's kitchen complete with breakfast nook and red countertops. Bathrooms are newly painted and have 1920's original subway tile. Towels, soap and shampoo provided. Small refrigerator for guest use provided in hall outside room All bedrooms now have a 32 inch LCD cable television with cable box for use by guests. All bedrooms also have their own lock and key and there lock for the bathroom door. There are nearby public buses, shopping, movies, dry cleaners, laundry. A full breakfast is not provided, but coffee, tea are always available. Full breakfast is available within walking distance and a bagel store, and there is Toast, Buttermilks and the Village Idiot that all serve breakfast. There are two coffee house, one on East Main Street and one on West Main Street in Patchogue. This is a room in a private house with the owner living on the premises, this is not a commercial bed and breakfast, and it has never been advertised as such. Guests of access to their bedroom, kitchen, guest and downstairs bathroom. Basement access is restricted to doing laundry, available for $5.00 a load. DO not go into closets and other drawers or rooms without prior permission from the home owner. I offer them privacy, or will chat over meals on weekends and in the evenings. Walking distance to Patchogue Village. Local neighborhood bar, Reeses about a 10 minute walk. Main Street Patchogue is about 15 minute walk. Lots of bars, restaurants, library, theater, independent movie theater (Plaza Cinema). Local Organic food store, Waldens. Music venues. There is an Organic coffee shop called Roasters. There is also a night club, seafood restaurants, a wide variety of food, walking distance to supermarkets. There is a public bus that passes in front of my house. The Patchogue Railroad station is a 10 minute walk and you can take it west into Manhattan's Penn station or east to the Hamptons and ends at Montauk Point. Full length mirror and hair dryer in the room for use.
