Middle Fork Cabin
Middle Fork Cabin
Description
This is truly a unique cabin. Designed by architect David Neiman & featured in the book "Log Houses of the World," it combines Japanese style features & NW log-frame construction to create a truly unique experience. Included in the rental is use of the 13+ acre wooded property, including access to the middle fork of the Nooksack River. The cabin is close to the year-round outdoor recreational opportunities that the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest provides. The space 2 bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed. Both bedrooms access the deck separately. The second bedroom also has a sitting area. Awesome bathroom, the shower is 16' high to the skylight. The kitchenette area has a full-sized refrigerator and various small appliances, like a microwave, crock pot, electric kettle, and air fryer. It includes dishes, utensils, and pots and pans to use with the hot plate, or electric frying pan. You can also use the bbq grill out on the deck during the spring and summer months. The eating bar has a beautiful view of the surrounding woods, and the rollaway island can be used for cooking prep or to gather around to play a game. Guest access Guests can use the propane fire table (weather permitting and no burn ban). Guests have use of the property, including access to the river. Please be respectful of the environment and of the neighbors property boundaries. Other things to note We dislike renting places that give you a list of 100 things you can't do, or add additional cleaning fees, so we don't do that. There are a few basic rules, that's it: 1. Please clean up after yourself by washing your dishes, or small appliances or the bbq if used. Cleaning products are provided. 2. Please pick up after your pets and keep them off of furniture and bedding. A blanket for your pets can be found in the cabin, feel free to make use of that during their stay. 3. Please do not cook or place appliances on the eating bar so as not to damage it, just use the kitchen island for all prep and cooking. Thank you!
