This is truly a unique cabin. Designed by architect David Neiman & featured in the book "Log Houses of the World," it combines Japanese style features & NW log-frame construction to create a truly unique experience. Included in the rental is use of the 13+ acre wooded property, including access to the middle fork of the Nooksack river. Fish, hike, and swim from your own private beach. The cabin is close to the year round outdoor recreational opportunities that Mt. Baker provides. The space 2 bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed. Both bedrooms access the deck separately. There is also a loft that can accommodate extra people and it comes with queen size inflatable mattress. Awesome bathroom, shower is 16' high to the skylight. Guest access Guests can use the propane fire table and the fire pit (weather permitting and no burn ban) and there's firewood to use (no charge). Guests have use of the property, including access to the river. Please be respectful of the environment and of the neighbors property boundaries. Other things to note I dislike renting places that give you a list of 100 things you can't do; so I don't do that. There are a few basic rules, that's it. I don't add on additional fees for every little thing (pets, firewood, an extra guest or two, etc).
