Rock House Retreat (basement apt private entrance)

Just west of Kearney, five miles off of I-80. Clean and quiet 2 bedroom 1 bath walk-in basement apartment of our home. Private entrance with self check in and check out. Peaceful country atmosphere. Cornfields and fireflies if your timing is right ;) The space We offer a spacious, fully equipped guest apartment with private entrance and self check in/checkout. Travel nurses welcome (please inquire for availability).Assorted board games, smart tv and WiFi access are also included. There is an uncovered parking area directly in front of entrance to the apartment. NOTE: Our young, excitable dog (Sam) is very friendly and will likely visit you during your stay. Please don’t let him jump on you or enter the apartment. If you aren’t fond of dogs, you may want to look elsewhere for lodging. Guest access Large back yard and nice patio view Other things to note The pool table in the apartment is OFF LIMITS TO ALL GUESTS. Please do not remove the cover. There is a 1 mile (approximate) stretch of gravel road that may be difficult to maneuver in inclement weather. We have a geothermal air conditioning system located in the basement. It is somewhat loud and shares a wall with the bathroom/second bedroom. If you are a light sleeper our place may not be suitable for you (or you might want to bring earplugs) The basement has it’s own thermostat which you may set at your own comfort level. Please bring a light jacket or sweater in the summer months. The basement apartment runs cooler than the rest of the house, at about 68 degrees in the summertime months. Quiet time is from 11:00 pm to 5 am. Our golden/labrador (Sam) is very friendly and excited to meet new people. You will likely have interaction with him as you come and go. Please don’t let him jump up on you or enter the apartment. If you are not a ‘dog person’ this may not be a suitable place for you to stay. Absolutely no third party bookings are allowed No unregistered guests are allowed on this property. No smoking/vaping allowed inside or outside.
