Guest access Access to barbecue grill area with high top dining and four hightop chairs. Two recliner beach chairs in sandy area. Two wicker chairs and table on own private deck. Other things to note Parking underneath main home, please use first bay. Covered walkway for inclement weather. Motion detector lights. Dock lights. There is a light on the column underneath home that can be manually turned on (please also turn off) to unload or load. Apartment is the first door on the right (the ground level) inside the pool lanai cage. There are lights/fan by the screen door inside the pool cage also. The beach shed is located inside the pool lanai (may remain unlocked) and there are beach chairs, umbrellas with sand screws, boogie and skim boards, masks, snorkel, fins, some coolers, Children's sand and pool toys and shell beach scoopers. Helmets are located here for bikes and you need to wear a light at night (in apartment). There are two fishing rods and you need a Florida State Fishing license which you may get on-line. There are three kayaks under home or fishing kayak may be on kayak ramp. You need a life jacket by law (in beach shed.) Kayaking in canal is safe and you may see dolphins and manatees. If you kayak to Tarpon Bay you must check tides and wind, take water. It is 2 1/2 hours to Bird Island and back. Stroller available on request. Some children's books in apt. There is a Walmart, Aldi and Publix before you get onto island. You will save 20-30% by shopping there first. Jerry's Grocery store is only one mile from the house, has a Starbucks and a restaurant, liquor store , beach store, sporting store, all located in the same plaza. There are directions in the apartment to heat up the pool jacuzzi spa which is fine to use in the winter months. This usually heats up the pool also. The app you need to install on your phone will also turn on the spa lights. We normally do not heat pool in winter months as it is very costly. Garbage is picked up on Thursday mornings and the bins are located under the home. Green is for recycled. Whitneys bait shop is located 1 mile down the street. He will sell you fresh or frozen shrimp. You will need. your own shrimp bucket and aerator and pliers (available at Whitneys).
