Welcome to this one-of-a-kind escape! The centerpiece of our 20 acres of beautiful Catskill terrain is a waterfall just a short walk through the woods behind the house. Its rushing water provides a natural soundtrack as you enjoy our large backyard and patio; hike 2,800 ft of private riverfront; visit a larger-than-life modern sculpture; grill and dine inside a 200-year-old ruin; or savor the warm embrace of several fire pits, including one on a patio overlooking the waterfall for epic bonfires The space For ultimate serenity, sit across from the hypnotic waterfall on a private island that’s perfect for yoga, meditating, bonfires, sipping cocktails, or soaking up the sun. In warmer weather, swim or paddle in the magnificent, old quarry water hole. The Location Our secluded house is situated at the end of a private road two hours from NYC and a short drive to Woodstock, Saugerties, Hudson, and several ski mountains. The Space This is a separate apartment on top of the garage of the main house. There is a completely private entrance and lock for the apartment. The owner does not live on the property. For service emergencies, a caretaker lives nearby. Apartment Located one flight up to a spacious well-lit loft-like area with large screen TV/DVD player, comfortable sofas, and a sleeping alcove with a cozy queen bed nestled into it. The Master Bedroom is spacious and peaceful, and the full bathroom is located just outside the bedroom. The apartment is completed with a large full kitchen including an array of cooking utensils. There is a dining area located in the kitchen. The apartment has a lot of light because of the many windows locate on both sides of the living area. The loft like layout offers a lot of open space and high ceilings. Guest access Guests can access all outdoor spaces on the property besides the backyard of the house which is reserved for guests of the main house. If there is no one staying at the main house at the time of your stay than it’s ok for you to use the backyard then. There is 20 acres of hikeable land that guests have access to, including the riverfront, waterfall and fire pits located in multiple parts of the property.
