Just a 90 minute drive from Phoenix in the heart of rim country, you will find this little gem, with many hiking trails and lakes nearby. Nestled in the trees, you’d never guess you were just minutes from restaurants and shopping! The space This cozy cottage is located behind our main residence, yet is designed for privacy with your own screened porch, fire pit, grill, and yard games. Multiple hammocks throughout the property, perfect for a quick afternoon nap. You'll have the full 700 sq ft cottage to yourself, with sleeping arrangements for up to 6, and all the essentials: fridge, stovetop, air fryer, microwave, slow cooker, fully stocked coffee bar, complimentary wi-fi, and smart TVs. As an added bonus, guests have access to their own private treehouse, perfect for adults and kids alike! Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail high in the pines. The treehouse has windows and screens but no heating or cooling so it's ideal for those who want to experience the great outdoors with some creature comforts. Bringing along your furry friend? The cottage also comes with access to an outdoor doggy shower complete with shampoo & towel! **Please let us know during the booking request if you plan to bring your pet and disclose size and breed. Guest access Finding the cottage can be tricky because google maps will take you to a dead end. After booking, we will send detailed directions and map. Parking info will also be included. Other things to note Depending on the time of year, there may be federal fire restrictions in place - which means no camp fires. However, there is a private propane fire pit for our guests to use. We also provide yard games. We welcome small dogs, however they must be leashed at all times. See our house rules for more information on our pet policy. There is one exterior trail cam on the property pointed at the elk trough. We also have a chicken coop with several hens, no roosters. We are located in the mountains so there is plenty of wildlife in the area.
