The home is in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We are 1 mile from the Boat House, 2 miles from the Jordan Valley Barn and 17 minutes from Castle Farms wedding venues. Boyne Mountain is an easy 20 minute (13 mile) drive. Fun downhill and cross-country skiing! We are also within walking distance of dining, boating and summer concerts Boyne City and Charlevoix are short scenic drives We are close to hiking/mountain biking trails, golfing, snowmobile trails and kayaking. Pets are not allowed. The home has plenty of space for everyone's comfort (approx 1500 sq ft). There is a sectional couch providing ample seating in the main living room while using the new Smart Samsung TV. Off the full kitchen is a smaller conversation area with a great backyard view. You may see deer and turkey in the backyard during your stay. We offer a variety of board games for those nights when staying in and ordering pizza sounds good to everyone. We supply coffee/tea with sugar, dairy and non-dairy cream, drip coffee maker/filters and a french press The master bedroom has a king size bed and an attached full bathroom. The other two bedrooms are comfortable in size and each have a queen size bed. Each bedroom has a full closet with hangers. A washer and dryer is also conveniently available on the main floor. What we and friends love about this house is how convenient and efficient the single floor design is. These basic features accompanied with tasteful decorations makes this home a comfortable place to relax at the end of a fun day of skiing at Boyne Mountain, snowmobiling the Jordan Valley, golfing, a day on Lake Charlevoix or exploring all that nature has to offer nearby. There are two steps to access the front door. If full barrier free access is required, please let us know and we can arrange access through the garage. The garage is currently unavailable to guests. We live close-by and are easily available for questions. East Jordan is a small, picturesque Northern Michigan community where many business owners, municipal employees, civic leaders and residents know each other by first name. We are a friendly, wonderful place. The home is located on the residential end of Main Street. It is a short walk from the turn of the century downtown business district and municipal marina situated on the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix. One of our favorite activities during the summer or winter is a short morning walk downtown to the South Arm Cafe, a locals breakfast spot. The Iron Goat Coffee shop is another possibility. A few steps beyond is wildlife viewing at the Jordan River estuary. This is where the Jordan River meets Lake Charlevoix and is home to the municipal marina. We enjoy walking the marina boardwalk and seeing boats from all over the Great Lakes or possibly other parts of the world. City of East Jordan Amenities: *Municipal Marina offers a shoppers dock for temporary mooring and easy access to downtown restaurants and shopping. For overnight mooring check for availability and more information about the marina please call the City of East Jordan or the DNR Online Reservations web site. *Municipal Lake Charlevoix South Arm beaches are located at the Tourist Park and Elm Pointe. Please note: no life guards are on duty at these beaches. *Boat Launch to Lake Charlevoix - South Arm * Fishing Pier * Tennis Courts, Basketball courts and pickle ball courts. *Nearby access to the Jordan Valley Snowmobile Trail System * Mountain bike and hiking trails We have space if you require parking for boats, snowmobiles or other toys.
