This charming carriage house is located on the historic Henry Krug estate, circa 1872. The carriage and main house are on the National Register of Historic Places. The property is located next to the 160-acre Krug park with lagoon and waterfalls. The space This peaceful retreat is surrounded by 100-year old Austrian Pine Trees, deer roaming freely at dusk and dawn, a groundhog who occasionally makes an appearance, and bordering a 160+ acres park with waterfalls, lagoon and geese, fishing, hiking and biking trails. Guest access The entire carriage quarters is yours as well as an elegant backyard space with charming antique stone columns, stone walls, birdbaths, and benches. Enjoy complimentary coffee and explore the secret garden-like property with it's own hiking path and the adjacent park with miles of hiking and biking trails and two waterfalls. Parking is beside the carriage house with access to the carriage house up the staircase and around back. Other things to note Free use of equipment for fishing, tennis, pickle ball, basketball, and soccer is available upon request. All associated facilities are on the premises or within walking distance. Please note that during the winter the gas fireplace is the main source of heat for the carriage house. It is best left on the low setting of 1 or 2 and the temperature regulated with the provided radiant space heater.
