Entire house just a three minute walk to the beach

HOME UNDER RENOVATIONS - CHECK BACK IN LATE FALL….Historic charmer. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and stunning sunsets. Key West-style beach house decorated with beautiful coastal décor. Just a short walk to Caddy's on the Beach and Sunset Beach from this charming two story family beach house. Quiet neighborhood, free parking and close to everything you want for a Florida vacation. The space With beautiful coastal decor, you'll feel right at home in this two story house. Enjoy the attention to detail wherever you look, hints of vintage to complement the home's 1930's origins. With approximately 1500 square feet, the home can comfortably accommodate a family of 4 to 5 maximum (kids count towards the maximum number). Parking: The home has room in the carport for ONE car which of course can be parked on the property for free. If you have more than one car, the City of Treasure Island has implemented a fee for street parking, which you are responsible for. You will need to find the sign at the end of the street (west) and scan the QR code to load the app and pay an hourly fee (which is currently $3.75/hr.) Downstairs: The downstairs level has a dining table. The home has a full kitchen with stone countertops and stainless steel appliances as well as all of the amenities you could possibly need (toaster, coffeepot, Keurig, pots/pans, blender). There is a full bath on the main level (shower). The first level bedroom has a full size bed with calming coastal blue decor. A small office area with desk and lamp is also set up for you in the main living room. Upstairs: The large open* upstairs level has a kitchenette including a Keurig coffee station, toaster oven, and small refrigerator for holding cold beverages and snacks. Also upstairs, guests can enjoy a shark-themed open bedroom area with a queen-sized bed. The large upstairs master bedroom contains a king size bed and an attached full bathroom (tub/shower). Also in the master bedroom closet is a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. In addition, there is a large upstairs loft area for lounging - plenty of seating for a family to enjoy. *Please review the pictures carefully. The upstairs is open above each bedroom and the bathroom to allow for airflow due to the mini-splits. It is not soundproof. Outdoor Space: From the large deck off of the upstairs loft, guests can enjoy the fresh salty air and ocean breeze. Perfect for a relaxing morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. There is also a large beautifully landscaped backyard oasis with outdoor eating area including grill. Other amenities: Three flat screen TV’s throughout the home with full cable and hi-speed Wi-Fi. A variety of beach necessities are provided for guests to enjoy, such as beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers and beach toys. Outside towel hooks and shoe storage are near the main side entrance as well as an outdoor shower (backyard) and footwash (front) for you to "de-beach" after a relaxing day enjoying the sun and sand. Beach Access: The beach is only a few minutes walk (about 3-4) - to the right when you arrive on the beach is Caddy's - typically busy, younger crowd. To the left it is quieter - just walk a 100 yards or so down the beach. Note that weekends and holidays are very busy. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire living space with the exception of half of the storage shed and the locked cabinets/closet space that is the owner's personal property. Owners have provided a few beach chairs, a couple umbrellas, small cooler, a beach cart, beach towels, and beach toys for your family’s convenience. In addition, there is an outdoor grill. Note that guests who use this equipment are responsible for their own safety as well as any damage. Guests are responsible for ensuring all equipment is clean and ready for the next guests. Guests are also responsible for cleaning the grill after use. Other things to note This home is located in a QUIET neighborhood. Neighbors will report to owners if guest behavior is loud, obnoxious, or disrespectful. We know it's a beach house - but it is absolutely NOT a party house - we will not tolerate any behavior like this at all and you WILL be asked to vacate. PLEASE NOTE: YOU ARE RENTING THIS HOME AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE HOME HAS STAIRS, IS NOT BABY/TODDLER PROOFED, ETC. WE HAVE DONE EVERYTHING TO MAKE THE HOME SAFE FOR NORMAL OCCUPATION. DO NOT JUMP ON BEDS, RUN UP/DOWN STAIRS , ETC. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE. IF YOU BURN YOURSELF WHEN COOKING, CUT YOURSELF WITH A KNIFE WE'VE PROVIDED IT IS YOUR PROBLEM, ETC. In addition, we can no longer rent to heavy smokers even if you smoke outside. We will not rent to anyone without reviews. PARKING: There is a carport area for one car. You are responsible for the parking fee (which is currently $3.75/hr - but can change - please be sure you check the app/website). If you do not purchase street parking, you will get ticketed. If you do pay for street parking, be sure you do not block any driveways, walkways/entrances to homes or marked places. Treasure Island Parking Enforcement is very strict. VALUE: Please be advised that in Florida, the occupancy fees and taxes and now INSURANCE are high and they are required to be paid. We charge a fair competitive nightly rate with our guests enjoying the convenience and privacy of an entire house steps from the beach. You are free to explore hotels nearby but you will find that often in addition to the taxes, there are resort fees and parking fees. In addition, high season is generally February through June and again in November though December. Holidays as well often are higher rates per night. Also note that the cleaning fee is a direct pass through. It is a 1500 square foot house, cleaners are cleaning the entire house, all surfaces, two bathrooms, and laundry, etc. If you don't leave the house in good condition when you leave, you will be charged any extra fees.
